2024 will be all about AI stocks, whichever way. The reason I choose NVIDIA is that they are better positioned to support future long-term growth and act as a platform for other AI firms. I know of someone who has made over 200% profit using NVIDIA. I'll take into account the additional recommendations you made as well.

It will be easy to blow away Iranian production, and let the majority of Russian Federation wells freeze (as happened in the break up of the USSR and took three decades to fix with the western oil companies using their expertise) I would suggest that the lucky few who can get solar panels and a robust EV !

If a person is wrong, why would you keep listening to him? I think he is wrong about $300 oil just like he was wrong about the economy last year. The market may roar back in the short term, but the financial problems that are still there will only get worse. All it did was push out the inevitable at least 6 months to a year out. The market still expects weak future growth due to the value of the 10 year bond sales. The bond market is probably glad the fed is no longer putting their thumbs on the short term bond scale and allowing the market to decide. The bond market are making corrections as we speak.

@@paulcoenen7918 yes this is probably true and it will boost sales but be careful, Elon is neglecting everything other than AI at Tesla and he’s not as smart as people think. For example, it should be obvious to any engineer that a structural battery pack with cylindrical cells will never be structurally efficient. He mistakenly believes slow vehicle sales are the result of prices being too high in spite of millions of more expensive ICE vehicles still selling. His goal is to save the planet, not to make money for his shareholders. You’re buying a robotaxi company that may have a lot of competition when Tesla finally has a product.

By the way, the thing that was sort of glossed over in this conversation wasn't that the economy stopped. The economy was stopped! The economy could have kept going, yes at a diminished way, and yes it would have been hurtful, but it probably would not have created the sort of malinvestment and distortions that we did the way we did it. So we are still suffering through those distortions and quite frankly we don't know what the result is going to be. There are plenty of zombies out there, companies, government, people.

Why not this time? Reverse repos run out and liquidity dries up... but the market continues higher? I don't think so.
