very helpful video! :) i've had the hd650s for about a year and a half and ended up purchasing the xm4s a few days ago because i wanted something more portable and useable in loud environments. I've just been plugging the hd650s directly into my macbook because i've had a hard time finding a good audio interface to pair them with, so i don't think i'm using them to their full potential. what interface/amplifier would you suggest for the hd650s?

You should point out that the xm4 have their own eq app and their dsee extreme audio upscaling encoding built in.
@anas_voice_over3 күн бұрын
@@TripleCommaGang that's correct indeed. Perhaps I thought raw performance counted here, but yes, the Sony conduct app is genuinely quite good when it comes to EQ, noise cancelling options, and the DSEE audio up scaling can be real useful.

good video, but you forgot to mention that wireless headphones have the same structure as a regular wireless network.. and this is close to your head. It goes without saying that it is not good for health and the risk of brain cancer.
@anas_voice_over22 сағат бұрын
@@PsGetSid_ there's still some debate about this to be honest. The RF being produced by these headphones is almost never ever enough to actually cause anything. The signal is way too weak. It also isn't ionising, like X ray scanners. But my knowledge is too limited to argue any further. Thanks for mentioning the point, even if I only half agree! :)

0:49 humans cant hear around 40khz so its pointless. The most high you can hear is around 20khz and even at 20khz not all ppl can hear even very young ppl can struggle to listen that hight.
@anas_voice_over2 күн бұрын
@@justino9042 correct and also not correct. While humans can't hear above 18-20Khz usually. The number going above to 30-40Khz is usually mostly an indication that the company uses really good drivers. So in a sense, it is useful Also. Comparing wireless to wired isn't that difficult. They're both headphones that produce sound and serve somewhat reasonably similar jobs :)
@justino90422 күн бұрын
@anas_voice_over yeah but comparing wired to wireless is a bit awkward in my opinion Even tho both do the same Jobs of reproduce audio some would argue bluetooth is just not the best source, i think comparing headphones with the same source is just more accurate.
@anas_voice_over2 күн бұрын
@justino9042 that is true. It is more accurate. But that's why this video exists :) Everyone compares wired to wired and wireless to wireless. This is just a soft comparison between two that aren't often compared

@@justino9042 A lot of these wireless headphones can be wired though via 3.5 or usb c for lossless. Right now I'm listening on my bowers px7 s2e and I think they sound really good, and I have audiophile headphones and tons of iems. The bridge gap is narrowing.
