3000 Mile Road Trip While Car Camping: CA, AZ, CO, UT | The Window Seat

At the end of September through the early part of October 2020 (when numbers were safer), I embarked on a nearly 3000 mile road trip through some of my favorite areas of the great outdoors here in the United States. Starting in Flagstaff, AZ and continuing on through various public lands and mountains of Colorado before ultimately passing through Moab, UT on my way home - I documented my journey and the people I met and ran with along the way.

Man, I love your videos. I saved this video for watching on the peaceful days that will come, but I couldn't wait no more. You and your work inspire me to run, to travel, to live a simple life. I liked your trip, this is my concept of freedom. Me and my wife are runners and we transformed our car (Hyundai Tucson) in a car for camping so we can escape in nature in weekends. Well thank you. I really really wanted to stay home on my couch and do nothing. Halfway through this movie I am like "ok, I have about 30 minutes of daylight left. Enough to get a quick 5-6k in". So I had to pause the video and went for a run. In the end even 8k. Plus I now want to visit the US again and visit all those beautiful places

Nice, (once again Billy). I wish our borders were open so you could come and travel New Zealand. Lots of trails, crazy trail runners, and more scenery than you can poke a drone at. Although, I don't think the house I live in would compare favorably with the houses you stayed in on this trip, the couch is comfy and we have loads of good coffee, and my wife's home-made pizza is to die for! :-) Keep safe and well. Born and raised in LEADVILLE! My family business has operated here since 1971. My Gpa was a one-armed logger who cut down majority of ski trails at Copper, Winter Park, Keystone, Beaver Creek.
