We have had a crew of lads onboard for nearly a month as we first cruised around Indonesia and then set off across the Indian Ocean to Mauritius. We arrive into the island of Rodrigues for a quick break, dropping off a crew member for work and then back to sea to reach the family in Mauritius.
The feeling of arriving into Mauritius and seeing the family on the dock was one of the best feelings I will cherish forever.

Mauritius, eh? Fun fact, named after a Dutch prince. As to education, back in my travelling days, I signed my kids up with the Brisbane School of Distance Education. Nothing but good experiences with them. They have been around a long time. I remember my youngest son sitting his HSC exam at the Australian High Commission in Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei).

Over a month for the boys on the boat together and 18 days at sea completely alone.. boys will be boys and things get silly. Appreciate their youthful nature.. it’s just them together on the sea with a camera. This is unfiltered (except for the beeps) real life. I think we can handle a bit of cheeky swear words in the name of humour while they battle the India Ocean.
