if you want this power without going e85 or other additive you could get dr550s(or 650s), or 15gs, with 550cc injector.

Hey nice ride, i got a vr4 too with 13g's but my injector size is 450cc. 13g's won't deliver enough fuel to require bigger injectors. That's insane that yours are 1050cc.

@kodster44 They only made 500 of the 01 GTO's this was out of one that crashed and i got lucky and my buddy hooked me up, it was a auction on ebay and i called them directly then found out that i was talking to a old friend and he gave me a good deal but it was still really expensive, after everything it cost me almost 6k but my advise is to just find a 2nd or 3rd gen 3000gt engine and put it in. GTO swaps are a shit ton of work.

was the vr4 owner pegging the rev limiter at the start and then dumped the clutch? or did he semi-drop and feather the clutch for the launch?

+spoolin He has whats called anti lag a form of two step rev limiter. Its essentially just a very very basic form of launch control. It allows you to be at a dead stop with your foot to the floor and the computer will hold a preset rpm by retarding the timing. At this point excess fuel is being ignited in the manifold and this creates pressure like it would if the car was under load allowing the turbos to build boost from a dead stop so there is no turbo lag. (that's also where the backfiring sound comes from).

@ahmedliljit minor things.. i bought it in need of much restoration.. bought it for its dentless body.. put new engine in it.. new but stock turbos.. it has boost and oil pressure gauge, and all the piping is aftermarket cx racing piping.. bout to get a boost controller.. then if alls well.. ill be using it in college to study High Performance Racing technology... and do serious modding on it.. what about yours.. obviously some things are done to yours.. any future plans for it?..

@MrRayman217 really? then you have no clue about these cars or your lying that you have one. To run E85 you have to have a standalone setup and get retuned on the dyno to run E85. PLus you need to have bigger injectors(E85 uses about 35% more fuel than pump), and atleast a hotwired fuel pump, AFPR and new fuel filter. PLus I would reccommend a HKS DLI
