300Db (400 Db?) Train Horn Update!

Supposedly the Saturn V rocket could reach 210 dB at the pad. I've seen numbers quoted around 160 dB for a SpaceX Falcon 9 Heavy and 130-something inside the payload fairing. Energy doubles every time you go up 3 dB, so 300 dB would basically be an above ground nuclear blast. Then again, in the 80s Def Leopard claimed "a million megawatts" of sound at their shows, so hyperbole isn't unknown in SPL. Either that, or now we know how that particular leopard lost its hearing.

Just go to the junkyard and find a old Cadillac remove the horns and you will have the best horn sound in your car . Not as loud as a air trumpet horn but louder than any other car .

There's a adjustment screw on the back for 150 dB you need two for 300 db

The screw on the back of this type of horn fine tunes the oscillation of the sound plate. Does nothing in regards to the horn's frequency.

You didn't really explain what makes these horns garbage aside from the fact that they have the false claim of being 300 dB are they truly garbage? Or are they still a decent horn because I don't care if they're 300 dB like they claim to be I just want to put a louder horn on my motorcycle and these seem like they would be perfect, so to anyone reading this message if they have experiences with these horns are they garbage? Or would it be good for me to mount on my motorcycle because the horn that comes on my Honda ruckus sounds like it should be on a child's toy bike I just want a better horn I don't care if they claim to be louder decibels than they actually are I just want something louder than what I have
