Glad to see someone besides me is still using the old reliable Oehler. I’ve been using mine for over 30 years. Even the original ink pad is still printing. I seriously doubt one of the new fangled ones will last that long. I HATE the LabRadar I bought.
@quarterminutemagnums Жыл бұрын
Dear Sir - Vickie contacted LabRadar numerous times over the years, they would never work with us or provide dealer pricing, if Garmin puts them out of business, I for one will not miss them. Thanks.

Great video. Really enjoy your channel....your little miss is growing like a weed...thanks for sharing what you do. I think people need to understand what it takes to make a precision rifle. Plus the effort involved to verify accuracy. Thanks again.

I’m becoming increasingly obsessed with larger magnums, in part thanks to your channel! As for your curiosity about cases and their associated velocities & pressures as it relates to chamber fit… Erik Cortina and some fellow F-Class competitors have those digital targets… No idea what the formal name of those targets are or the equipment are, but that would certainly help isolate your shooting data. Thanks! -Isaac

I believe that you can build a great rifle
@Archfile375 Жыл бұрын
Try writing the shot number on the case with a sharpie, then can match brass to the shots on the chronograph, additionally, you can draw the group on your notepad while you are shooting and label the shots between each shot. That way you have the brass numbered, the shots in order on the chronograph printout and the shots marked as the fell on the target.

Dear Sir - Thanks......we need help, cheap help!
@chucker25717 ай бұрын
I don't think you are capturing the brass correctly. Your brass should shrink in length when the shoulder gets blown out during fire forming. If it is gaining length the firing pin is shoving the brass into the chamber and upon firing the brass is getting stretched. You have to capture the brass between the shoulder and the head of the case. If not things will be erratic and brass life will suffer.

Let me know when you want to build another I know a man who can build it to a 5 shot 1 hole gun for about 15 hundred dollars depending upon what u do to add to it I have several that will only make one hole if u do your part and save u a ton of money 💰

You just unloaded 5 ton of gear to set up and shoot....... how about a camera? That seems like a whole lot of useless information, proves nothing that a couple shots go into one hole twice an inch apart. Run the barrel in, fire form your brass, then start to look at variations. Most barrels, even custom lapped ones, need a couple hundred rounds through them to settle down. The new owner of the weapon will pass judgement after some shooting. Your tests show it will be a shooter .... nothing more.
