These spanish vw are a great base. Viva seat. I fondly remember a 124s 4 door sedan, 1500 cc but a hell of a ride .. mid 70s in spain. That motor loved red lining.

Great lap Misha! Cupra with manual is so much enjoying, I´m selling one and I feel I will miss it very much. Switched to M340i from 280 ST ...... fwd manual to xdrive automatic. Yep the BMW is pretty much quicker in everyday conditions but hell..... that raw feeling of driving a 300hp car with a stick and around 1420 kg. Priceless.

I love left foot braking. Me personally learned how to brake with a left foot in my old mk3 golf. It was bad car and I couldn't let the gas pedal at all cozz the car will die and I use to brake with a left foot all the time in everyday traffic. That's the stupid reason but it helped me, Now I can drive my mk6 gti more to the limit.

But, from what I see, you are setting the grip on the front with the left foot brake when you don't need to downshift, but just settle the car balance for small turns. Am I right about that?

Wow! I expected quite a bit more agression on the clutch / quicker shifting, but you're surprisingly gentle on that left pedal! The pedal-cam was a really nice bonus, please do that more often when you're in a car that allows you to do the Three Pedal Dance.

Awesome driving Misha! I have one question - why do you sometimes rotate your left foot when you left-foot brake? Is that just to reduce the pressure on the pedal? I've never seen it before but it clearly works for you 👍

Mostly because of the angle that the brake pedal is more to the right, so I cannot have my left foot flat on it in the first place without dislocating my knee. So easy braking I use the side of the foot.

I'm learning to use heel and toe at the moment and I have to say it's a lot of fun watching your footwork and learning from it :D What I noticed for example is that there are two completely different styles of heel and toe. The one that is actually heel and toe (what you are doing and what I am doing in sims) and the one that is just rolling your foot over the edge of the brake pedal onto the gas pedal (which works a lot better in my Golf for some reason). Oh and another completely different thing: in my opinion it's crazy how slow the rpms drop when you press the clutch...

I have a gti. The rev hang in these modern VW engines are.... incredible. They suck at upshift. I also recognize the pedals are identical to mine. The brake and gas pedals just don't work together. I have to step only on the right half of the brake to heel toe. Even Misha has missed several times. Like once at 6:26

Super impressive, what "disappoints" me about this drive train is that it's available in pretty much every VAG product across all brands, but never in a true RWD platform unless you're in the market for a KTM X-Bow(not VAG Product). Not trying to take away from how capable the FWD and AWD implementations are, just kind of disappointing that the option doesn't exist due to its flexibility/tunability.
