Guys just a suggestion. You need to wash with soap and water after applying chemical before doing the water only test for any left over residues remaining on paint surface.

Yea it’s still under there. Just being masked by the residue. A wash and a wet towel to remove all residue is the standard. Great job though guys

Great video Guys. I just finished using the Turtle Wax on my Black F150. One of the problems I encountered with the Turtle Wax was not being 100% sure that I covered an area. Especially on the roof and hood because they are hard to reach. I like that the 303 hazes so you know you got every spot. I may give it a try in the spring.

Thanks Jack. We agree, the haze is a nice way to affirm that you have applied to all areas correctly! You might have used this method, but we have started using an applicator vs a microfiber towel for better control of product application. We appreciate you watching!

I am of the opinion that the sun rays are what ultimately break down the sealants. Which ever one has the best UV resistance is the one for me. TW has built an entire maintenance program around the Ceramic Hybrid that works well to freshen the original application. I applied it in April it’s November still going strong and vehicle stays outside.

Hi David. 100% agree with you on the UV being the most important factor. That is the one thing out here in the desert of Arizona that destroys paint, seals/weatherstripping, plastics and interiors of vehicles. Glad to hear Hybrid Solutions id still going strong for you. I have been a 303 product user for years. Just tried Graphene on a 2008 Subaru Impreza that sits outside. The results are amazing. You do have to shake it a lot, I mean a lot. I am going to try the Turtle wax on my 03 truck?? We shall see.

I'm shocked turtle wax lost the fight so soon. I used the 303 touchless sealant recently and was very impressed. It made the paint immediately slick, its soooo easy to apply and can be used on any exterior surface which I do spray it on everything. I may try the graphene coating but for now the sealant does well enough for me.

They didn't do the test right per say. Residues remain on paint unless a thorough wash with soap is used

If you want the paint to be smooth, use a good clay bar with a detail spray first. Then do the zip lock bag test to see if it grabs.

I know it say no wait time after applying but this is what I noticed. I put the 303 Nono Graphene coating on my 71 Chevelle and the paint was smooth but not slick “at all”. My car is in the garage 90% of the time. After applying, I took the car out for a drive for a few hours and it was 90* plus outside then back in the garage After about 5 days sitting in the garage I noticed the paint was slicker. Then I put the 303 Graphene detailer on and it made it slicker but I was still expecting better. Then after another 5 days sitting in the garage OMG!! It’s like glass now!! So far I absolutely love this stuff. How long will it last?……probably a long time on my Chevelle it’s not a daily driver..

Well done gentlemen I think yes to clear winner is 303 because it's newer technology but it's the longevity of the product which is going to be the key would love to see you guys doing update on it if it can last 6-months it's a fantastic product if it fails within 6 months then it's an absolute shambles crack on Boys great work from the UK

I wouldn't say it was intentional; but each time the 'cleaning' product was put on the Turtle wax side first and more was put on there than what was applied on the 303 side. I think this was just because the person applying the spray was standing on that side. Not saying results wouldn't have been the same, but there was a bit of application bias in this.

Hi Ibwui. As far as UV protection, they all claim to have great UV protection included. Now, for the stone/rock chips and sand; a clear bra (paint protection film) is the best way to help prevent those that we know of. The coatings and sealants only help with micro scratches and even then, they can't prevent them all. Thanks for the question!

nothing will protect the cars painted surfaces from sand and stone chips full stop, the only products which will guarantee no stone chips etc, is the same products used on semi trucks vinal wrap basically, but then you have to wash and protect the vinal wrap?

I use the turtle wax line up. Happy with the results, would like to try 303 but not available in my town. I applied the turtle wax ceramic spray accordingly and for the maintenance I go with the turtle wax ceramic wash and use the turtle wax ceramic wet wax as drying agent. Pretty stoked with the result considering the price and can get the products anywhere.

The 303 stacks well on the tw hybrid,albeit you have to wait 24/ 48 hours.

Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic solutions smells like mango. 303 Graphene as well as Adam's Graphene really stink for now and I will advise you to use it on a well ventilated area. Adam's Graphene smells worse than. 303 Graphene.

Although apparently it is not really necessary but since I have it, I top it either with TW Ice new version or TW Hybrid Ceramic. @@1stfrompuertorico568 well in my particular case i have a black ram,2015.really good shape but had swirls,minor scratches etc.as the tw black comes in a kit,i did a ethos foam party wash 1st.rinse then a purple power strip soap wash.iron remova,l rinse then clay.then optimum paint prep.polished tw black,waited 24 hours,rinsed all dust pollen off.hit it with tw black ceramic hybrid.( must add,not as young as i was this was a 2 weekend project,big truck).skipped the tw black spray on the tailgate did graphene.just did 2nd coat of tw black spray after another wash.except the hood.no 2nd coat.did 1/2 the hood in graphene left the other half with 1 coat of hybrid spray...we,ll see.fyi ,funny...i foam partied the roof rinsed hit it with ethos ceramic shampoo called it a day,lazy or beat up 🤔....from what i,ve read and seen the graphene has a LOT less water spotting issues not just from washes but contaminated rain ( pollen,dust airborn chemicals etc.)so to me it would make more sense to have the graphene as the last coat...my 2 cents....i guess the boys need to do a topper experiment.get some really geologically challenged water( calcium,phosphate,chloride. etc.,do a ph test) see which preforms better ...water spot test....heads are exploding in AZ 😉

Diamonds are the strongest known natural material known to man, not graphene, full stop and you cant use diamond micro dust at all, as it will scratch the shit out of the painted surfaces and that's a fact full stop?

@@PureOctaneGarage Also guys most people do not go to the extreme of claying and decon / iron remover and paint polishing steps, they would wash the car and then dry and apply a wax or sealant, thats what is done 95% of the time, so you should use a most popular spray wax on the panel, let it sit in the weather with rain dirt dust etc, then wash it and then apply the products you want to test, then to the test all over again, after applying the tested products etc, or better still use a car which is as daily and do 1/2 the front of the car, which gets the most of the road surface contaminates or better still the wheels especially black painted clear coated ones, that way 1/2 the wheel is coated with various products and then see the results. :)
