I like Ray Barton's 528 Hemi, but this Hemi is producing some high horsepower. The 528 can produce 850+ streetable NA hp. The AAR Cuda's were my favorite Cuda due to its unique paint combination and the spoiler! They should have made a Hemi AAR Cuda. Its appearance was rad.

The great part of this car was the original 6 pack car had a 410 horsepower 340 small block....when the street hemi was rated at 425hp huh for the elephant motor.....

I race superbike an i grew up driving dodge challengers an cudas...ironically my friends had coil spring cars an my E bodys had tortion bars which is similar to bmw...my cars handle way better the hard part of a AAR CUDA TYPE ROAD RACE CAR IS U NEED ZERO BODY ROLL BUT U NEED THAT WEIGHT SHIFT SO U CAN GET TRACTION ITS a balance even on braking u wanna stand it up on the front tires so getting the car to work is a trick ...i think drifting is a waste of time...just roasting tires yeah we need more worthless ways to polute our air of all things....it goes rite in our water an our kids drinking it...enuf bad looking AAR...WHEN i was in florida i met a guy with a big block car collection he offered me my dream car 70 AAR CUDA 1500 BUCKS i didn5 know what it was...i had a 70 SE challenger so i passed an bought TA trans an steering box...after the install i was kicking myself the car made a 60 percent improvement with just those 2 AAR cuda parts ...an i passed on the car but started building it young an dumb...kid. ..

I feel like people that argue prices do so because they never built shit…… so I am jus gunna wrap off some top of head prices on the car I am doing now 25k shell 50k in frame and suspension and brakes 20k rims tires 50k motor 80-100 interior 10 music 50k paint body and fab 10k trans 2k tq converter 2k radiator 3k gas tank and fuel pump And that’s jus off top of head not to mention rendering and all the other shit I am missing….. anyone thinks I am wrong please lmk I will send link to parts to verify……of ya and 25k to the builder…..

I have to say, this car is disgusting!! I hate seeing it. It make me want to cry. 35 years ago I met my uncle on my Dad's side for the first time. He was a car guy. He had 57 Chevy Bel-Air 2 door hardtops, MOPAR's, old Fords. But the one car he had and I fell in love with was his Black 1970 CUDA with a High Performance 340 4 speed with the pistol grip. He took me for rides all over town, leaving his black marks everywhere. I was 16 years old and out of the blue asked me if I wanted to drive it just around the shop to turn it around. "HELL YEAH!!!" The words couldn't come out fast enough. That day became the day I fell in love with this car. Iv'e had a number of MOPAR's but have never had the chance to get my hands on one of these. I don't care if it was a fixer upper. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!! I'll be realistic, I'm 51 years old now and not seeing me owning a 70 CUDA in this lifetime. Every time I see one on TV or in person, I can't help but shake my head and think back to that moment where I had that pistol shiftier in my right hand and got to drive that Beautiful Beast for a few moments. You have done a Beautiful job on this CUDA!!!!

I just don't see how something like this will amount to 305k, and calling that a "mild one" doesn't make it better. There seems to be from my uneducated perspective nothing special. No crazy bodywork, paint or interieur and the motor and perfornance parts don't seem to be extraordinary too. I would understand if custom restomods like those of the ringbrothers or speedkore would amount up to 500k, but even those are significantly more expensive, so where they sinking all their money? I wouldn't even guessed at half the price in that condition.

The AAR CUDA was the urban assault vehicle they were mopars 410 years an a 6 pack carbs...I was able to get a AAR cuda trans and put it in 70 SE challenger small block 727 with a factory 2500 rpm stall converter it was just the right slippage to get the small block off a stop sign corner or traffic light.....with a wimpy industrial/ marine 318 two barrel I smoked two guys in a 69 Camaro even surprised myself how quick the car got off the light and down the road and around a sweeper up to 90 I was surprised but that was that AAR cuda trans in 1970 Chrysler tried to go road racing unfortunately the 340 was too big and was destroked to meet TRANS AM rules of 302 cubes and they suffered from overheating all season I think they did manage to win one race all year but they got destroyed by boss mustang an those famous DZ 302 Chevy s Camaro....I found out boss 302 engine had 460 big block heads on them rumor is they were easily 475 horsepower before the race mechanics an tech got its carb dialed in still was the best looking thanks so jealous

Literally almost looks like Lettys cuda from Fast and Furious I own a 1970 AAR that looks almost identical to this but DEAFENING BLOW YOUR EAR DRUMS LOUD 1500 horse power whipple charged 426 hemi motor 5 speed aftermarket transmission It’s a tire shredding street car it’s been fuel injected and non fuel injected I love the classic having to pump the throttle ( non fuel injection) or you can also do that to open throttle body so it’ll help it start up
