Northfork does make an awesome bullet!!! I am waiting on the Woodleigh factory in Australia to begin full production again. They had a fire in their processing plant that destroyed over 70 percent of their equipment. Anyway, Woodleigh makes an awesome Protected Point Round Nose bonded bullet, too!!! Good luck and stay safe!!! 😉😉😉

I've heard that before. Maybe they acquired the rights? Or patent expire?
@jayparnell79176 ай бұрын
@@AlaskanBallisticsJack Carter's original Bear Claw had no grooves in the shank and used a different bonding process. Federal then purchased the rights and switched to gilding metal and then added large grooves to the shank. All different than NF's usage of pure copper, micro grooves, and double bonding process.

I’ve been pretty content with 165 gr hornandy interlock for many years but have never used them on anything bigger than white tail and mule deer your bullet performed well similar to the nosler partition which I would choose if I was hunting tougher game . Are they cost competitive with other premium ammunition?

Right now in the united states they're only available as reloading components, So yes they are price competitive with nozzle protection and swift aframe

Hey I have a POF 13.75 P&W I just picked up a box of 130 grain Barnes Im going to use this setup this year with a suppressor for 🦌, & 🐗 What grain weights would you recommend for a shorter barrel? I’m leaning more towards the lighter loads to get that velocity up bc of the shorter barrel.

The reason I’d pay $600 for it is because it will fit in your pocket and you can just set it on the bench.
