Those Terminal Ascents are pretty awesome from what I’ve seen and should be more popular. Federal is a powerhouse though, so I doubt other manufacturers would ever load them.

My Tikka had to get that copper or so ethi g built up it started out as two plus inch groups then as I shot through the box it got better and better to a one inch or less group

Right. Of the terminal accent. Or just other cup and core bullets ? I think it matters for some odd reason. Same with Barnes I am finding not as much with the Barnes but it does matter the copper that is built up in the barrel

Nice! I've been hoping to see you do a video on Fed TA in .308. I tried it in 7mmRm and really liked it. Or i should say, my rifle liked it. So I got some in .308 and it also did very well. I have some in .300WM but havent tried it yet. Anybody know if Fed makes the TA for .243? VERY good factory ammo. Have not been disappointed by it yet. Federal TA os rapidly becoming my favorite. Great performance but significantly cheaper than Nosler or Barnes.

Glad your rifle liked it! I just did the federal TA in .300 win mag but I've not edited it yet. My rifle didn't enjoy it either. My 7mm Rem mag lived the 155gr TA. So do I!

Wish that bullet had been available about 11 years ago for an elk hunt. Obama's anti 2A stance caused enough of a scare I could not find great hunting ammo. The inferior non bonded soft points i found with inadequate penetration resulted in a true fiasco.

I like your approach to testing, no bullshit with "lab data" bla bla. Chrony it and get on your stomach and shoot the gun like the average hunter. Gave a good view of the gel, after all... Thats what we care about. Looks like it hits hard for a 308
