My mom is quarantined in hospital I haven't seen her from last 4 or 5 days. @@sarangkulkarni4541 yes you can. But in order to feel the power of the law you should be able to hear your own voice. The main thing is that it should come from your own heart and with no doubts. You should imagine in your mind that your goal is already fulfilled and you are experiencing the joy of achieving that goal. You should focus on the sound of ‘myoho’ in the mantra.

How does loud chant and silent chant effect in making our prayers come true ?

We tend to chant aloud because it helps us to focus, but also to engage our senses more. For me, chanting aloud is better because i can focus on my voice too. So all in all, chanting out loud is better, and essential for this practice i think. However, we can of course chant in our heads at other times, like when we're in the supermarket, or out for a walk for example.

What is Sansho?

@@chintangala1039 Hi Chintan. Sansho is when we chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo 3 times - we often do that before and after chanting. The word Sansho means '3 times' in Japanese. Hope that helps :)

Hi Simran. Yes absolutely. I do that sometimes when i'm feeling too overwhelmed to chant. To listen to chanting in the background all the time, though, is not actually practicing - it's more like a passive practice, but every now and again is ok. I am actually working on a slow dreamy chant so we can fall asleep to - it helps me to relax :)
