Weird thing is, I actually came up with a similar premise a couple years before I ever watched 30 Rock. I was watching Cash Cab on Martha's Vineyard and was thinking, "You know what would be funny? If in a movie, a character has to get someplace real quick and/or follow someone, so they get in a cab and it turns out to be the Cash Cab and they are answering questions and getting money during an intense scene." I guess one of the writers on 30 Rock had the same idea. Imagine how surreal it was for me to watch this scene for the first time.
