30th Anniversary Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders Theme Music Flamenco Version Animation C64

Zak McKracken was first released in 1988 by then Lucas Filmgames and was the second game to feature the famous SCUMM engine and an interface without textparser but with verbs on screen where you click together the actions you want to perform. The esoteric themes and places took adventure gamer's hearts by storm and except for some tricky but still solvable mazes and some mean dead ends it is a true classic to the point and click genre. The soundtrack by Matthew Alan Kane is pumping with bass and a hypnotic melody and so very catchy, you can't do anything else but like it.
As Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders turns 30 this year (2018) this video is a hommage to the 30th anniversay of the great game Zak McKracken and features a Flamenco version of that mentioned soundtrack recorded by NecroPolo. See the heros of the game do the Flamenco.

This is great. I and my father used to play Zak a lot back in the golden days of C64. We always pissed that baker guy off to get that extra crispy dried-out bread. It is nice to see that Zak still has some bread crumbs left :-)

This is fudgin' amazing!!! How did this not show up in my suggested feed until 4 years later! From the music, to having models in the Commodore 64 Sprite Style... and having the phone company aliens too!? I got super into playing Zak McKracken through the SCUMM VM emulator since I was obsessed with Maniac Mansion ever since playing it as my second NES game as a child in the early 1990s. This was everything I hoped for and more. I loved every second of this!

this is amazing!!. I love the game, it's my favorite of all the adventure games, and I love the song. ha, I had a cassette player plugged to the pc speaker cables of the computer so I could record the song directly into a tape!. this version is amazing. it reminds me of the song in "kill bill" when the bride fights the japanese lady, "don't let me be misunderstood" by Santa Esmeralda.

I'm so glad and honored you like it :) There are no Zak McKracken Spritesheets on the whole web, at least we couldn't find any, so I started Zak up in a C64 Emulator and was so overwhelmed with the great sound hearing the SID intro again after all these years. Thank YOU!
