What are some of your favorite Horror movies to watch in OCTOBER leading up to HALLOWEEN??

My list is pretty similar, but Terrifier is a must for me! I know it gets hate because some people wanted more of a plotline, but I love it anyway

I would also throw in The Conjuring 2, Creepshow, Ginger Snaps, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hostel, Hellraiser, Pet Sematary, Clown, The Grudge, Suspiria (the original), The Exorcist 3, Re-Animator, In the Mouth of Madness, May, Saw, The Descent, Martyrs, Maniac, Last Shift, Silence of the Lambs, Dagon, Amusement, Wrong Turn. Some combination of those on top of several you named.

I’m so glad that you included Halloween 3. This movie gets a lot of negative flack and deservedly so, but I love this movie. If it was called “The Season of the Witch” and was not included in the Halloween movie franchise, it would have done much better in the theaters. I’m old enough to remember when this came out, it was marketed wrong.

It's absolutely underrated! I love the little commentary on marketing and advertising, it's great! I think they should remake H3. With todays special effects and CGI, they could really expand on it and make it seem so much bigger than it seemed in H3.

I still watch "The Fog" every year around Halloween. I love ghost stories that involve the sea. John Houseman is in the movie for less than three minutes, but his opening narration around the camp fire is epic! Please consider reviewing it as a standalone movie or ranking it with Carpenter's other works.

Good list. Sinister is probably top 3 in terms of movies that scared me the most. The music MESSED ME UP. I actually had to turn this video down when you had the music on. Almost walked out of the theatre during the lawn mower scene.

Creeped me out just putting it in there 😆 Where does it rank on your top movie music scores? It's definitely up there for me.

@@DifferentTake for horror movie scores it’s the one that scares me the most, and that’s including the exorcist which is number two. In terms of my favorite horror movie score that goes to Halloween (how can it not?!).

Wowww you just named my favorite score and the two scores that scare me the most, sinister and the exorcist. No lie. Also, the halloween score still creeps me out, and the amityville horror theme gives me the creeps too

Hell house LLC is definitely a must watch. Thank you for watching it! If you’re looking for more found footage, Butterfly kisses is a good one, not as good as Hell House LLC, but still good. Another movie that I have to watch in October is House on Haunted Hill the one with Ali Larter. I also love horror comedies so Found footage 3D, The selling, and Shaun of the Dead.

@@DifferentTake I enjoyed the prequel as well. They made some very solid films. I must admit I enjoyed them more then so big studio releases. Both films do well at giving you that abandoned feeling.

I LOVED the first house October Built - the second one took a giant dump on it and ruined first because it outright sucked, but also because it ruined the ending of the first one, we should have gone to our graves not knowing whether it was real or not. Are you looking forward to the new Scream? I'm kind of nautiously optimistic.

Some of these might not fall under the Halloween catalog but they're definitely worth the watch if you haven't seen them already. 1922 Child's Play Late Phases Let Me In Darkness Falls Torment (Didn't do well but I enjoyed it) Better Watch Out Upgrade Ouija Origin of Evil Drag me to Hell 30 day's of night Oculus Hostel My Bloody Valentine Cabin Fever (The 2002 one obviously lol) Crawl The Loved Ones Eraserhead The Fly Triangle Motel Hell Sleepy Hollow Red Dragon & Silence of the Lambs Don't Be Afraid of the Dark Hush A Quiet Place Dark Skies Cabin in the Woods Holidays (A MUST SEE ANTHOLOGY) Session 9 Candyman In the Tall Grass And Green Room These are not in order in anyway just some movie's I watched during October some I've seen before some I haven't but I really enjoyed em and thought you'd might as well.
