I watched this two nights ago on Peacock. I thought it was super fun. I’m a huge fan of the franchise. It definitely ranks up there for me. Great characters and some awesomely over the top moments made this a very re-watchable movie! Keep up the great content! Thanks!

The only trailers I’ve watched was really just the first teaser from 2020 and the first trailer in 2021. In a way to me when they’ve said this is the ultimate slasher, this movie pays it off honestly. I really do believe the Halloween 2018 trilogy is probably my personal favorite. Been loving this channel since summer of 84 :D

Ah! You're an OG! Thank you for supporting the channel all this time, I can't tell you how much it means to me! 🙌 Oh yeah, It absolutely pays it off! If this was called something else and not Halloween, horror fans would be loving this movie. It's definitely on it's way there for me too. I'm gonna wait till HEnds to call it, but they're already so much better than any other Halloween sequels.

Oh absolutely! It's been on the radar since the HKills release date was announced. I like to let it settle a bit before i make a definitive list, but i think i think i know where it sits. So maybe I'll do it sooner rather then later 😉

Yea I don't get the hate for this movie. Don't get me wrong I have my complaints but like... They made Michael into the shape again, the score was phenomenal, The kills were great, the flashback was perfect as far as i'm concerned and honestly for me I personally feel that when Halloween Ends comes out I feel like its gonna get more love. Example not gonna name names but there was a youtuber who HATED the ending of 2018 and he basically said movie left him upset because of the ending. Point being is Halloween kills come out and they ended up changing their mind because Halloween kills made that ending work. I just feel like a lot of the hate will go away when Ends comes out. Great review man!

Thanks! I was going to do an HKills spoiler review afterwards but i just did a live commentary instead. I go way more into detail with it. And I agree 100%. it was an awesome super fun throwback slasher before we get to the serious stuff again in Halloween Ends. Thing is, most people liked Halloween 2018, even critics, fans and mainstream audiences liked it. It was mostly the contrarian fans and the blind nostalgia fans that shit on H18 when it came out and it's the same ones who are doing it again with HKills (which is funny because HKills was made specifically for hardcore halloween and genre fans). And i guarantee the contrarians and blind nostalgia fans will do it again for Halloween Ends. Their thing is this: they'll wait 10-15 years from now when they're shitting on whatever new movie is out, then they'll go back (because they finally think it's cool) and act like the past ones they shat on are suddenly underrated gems 🤬 it's incredibly frustrating.

Just finished it, really not a fan or maybe it was hyped up too much for me...didn't add anything to the story at all. It was just Michael on a rampage for 100 mins which I usually love but at this point in the franchise I need some more story to keep it going. Love your videos man, from a fellow Philly guy!

Another philly guy?! Heyyy yoooo! What's up man?! Thanks for saying that man, i really appreciate it! 🙏 Honestly, i avoided all trailers except the 30 second teaser last year. Since 2018, i swore off all trailers from blumhouse because i feel like the company they're hiring to do them are trying to sell this movie to the masses, they're trying get butts in the seats. So the trailers are for the "on the fence"/"casual Halloween fan". So i didn't want any scare or scene or anything ruined for me. I had a gut feeling the story would really continue in Halloween Ends, and that Kills would be pure popcorn stuff-big dumb fun-and it absolutely was. For me personally, it took all of the great things that we loved about the sequels and put it with this current saga and it's aesthetic. Which is great because i didn't want to look at this saga and say, "it was great, but this part of H5 or H6 was so cool even know the movies weren't great". This was a great way to make the best parts of this franchise feel a part of this saga. But that's just for me personally.
