I remember that horrific event, and I will always consider her a hero. She stood up to the bully, who had no business being on that court due to his dubious character, and she did it with dignity.

Thanks for a good discussion. Agree with her. A lot of people don't stop to consider just how harmful this kind of behavior really is - for example how it can compromise readiness and cohesion in the military. There already is a disproportunate number of women in the military who get pregnant, by design or otherwise. This is an extra cost in more ways than one if they are unplanned or not wanted. This is just one example.

It breaks my heart that Ms. Anita Hill had to go through all that scrutiny. 1. Because she was a woman in a "man's world/club" and 2. Being a black woman. It makes no sense that people are in place and make laws that benefit them and not the American people. People in general.
