5 Year Old's Funny Turbulence Explanation :)

Toccoa decided he wanted to leave the Grandparents one day early to head out to the Farm. We depart Monroe County, Tennessee (MNV) for Monroe, Wisconsin (EFT) on an IFR flight. We got approval from ATC to deviate left/right of course to miss the bumpy tops of the clouds at 10,000 feet. My little man takes another flight nap, helps film a bit and gives a very cute explanation on the feeling of turbulence. :)

What a great video. Someday showing this to your son will be a real treat. You have a wonderful family Kevin...and these videos always make me smile. When our sons were young we bought one of those early enormous VHS camcorder deals and got video of the first time both got up on water skis, behind the old boat, and lots of wakeboarding video over the years. Tomorrow we are taking the Ski Sanger out and going to go pro video my eldest granddaughter, she is says going to get up on doubles...real doubles, not tethered training skis...she is 12. Kid size ski's, but "real skis" as she says. Same ones her Dad and uncle got up on all those years ago. Once she is up I promised to hook up the VCR and show her her dad's first time. She is motivated, LOL

Great video Kevin! You've got quite the adventure seeker in the copilot seat next to you! Wanting to get parachutes so he can do back flips off the wing, flying upside down etc, I think your videos are going to become more and more exciting the older Toccoa gets! He is definately at a priceless age right now, although all the ages are. Full throttle, but I mean real full throttle lol , all that and he nailed the explaination of turbulence, great stuff!

The two videos you have shared of you and your son are absolute heart-warming, Kevin. He seems to be very disciplined, while in the cockpit. He was quiet when you talked with ATC, like he knew what to do. That’s probably better than most kids older than him would do. It is so cute when he falls asleep. I loved it when he said what he wanted to be, when he grew up. Out of the mouths of babes....... Then, when you let him handle the yoke, he really did a good job, given how young he is. But, when you thanked him for flying “Dad’s Airline”. That was awesome. Plus, he has such a cute laugh. We enjoyed watching you and son, and how you relate to him. Straight up on the speedometer was 60 mph. Any time we were on some narrow back road, I'd point do the speedometer and say, "Daddy - make the needle go UP!", meaning to 60, lol. Everyone used to laugh - I still remember it! Great cloud skimming shots there - love that! 😎 Just got word yesterday that my paramotor was to ship out today! That is so awesome. Brought back lot of childhood memories of my Dad teaching me to fly. When we went to Scottsbluff Nebraska all the time growing up. In our 310 320 Duke v tail bonanza and one of my favorites the debonair. The deb was the first plane I ever landed. Then he bought a cessna 175 and was teaching me how to fly I wished I had continued on. But he sold that plane and I stopped. Had like 27 hours logged in that plane
