Hi sorry for the question I have a Kia uses same fuel pump assembly I recently changed filter but I'm losing fuel pressure I lost one of the o rings that goes on opposite side of the fuel pressure regulator. My question is if I used a smaller o ring thinner diameter instead can that cause/ be my issue with low fuel pressure??

possible, but it can also be high pressure fuel pump on top of the engine

@@312Drive I have it at the shop and they tested pressure coming from tank and there's very little they took out fuel pump bench tested it and tested fuel pressure regulator is good, what's left is replacing those 2 o rings. They also tested hpfp and it's also good.

I did just because I bought the car with 100K miles and it's usually good idea to replace fluids and filters when u buy used car

That net filter can just be cleaned out, its the cylinder filter you want

Hey there, got the car running rough spitting fuel out the exhaust. Was told by a friend to replace the fuel pump. Should I just straight up replace the low pressure and high pressure fuel pump? This seems like a lot more work than just straight up replacing the pump. I was trying to find just the filter to see if that'd be the cheapest fix but don't even know where to buy the filter.

no, don't throw money at it. define the issue first. gas in exhaust means your car is running lean. nothing has to do with any pump
