Joel and Joe… let’s talk about the fact that sauce still has yet to shadow WR1’s lmao, gabe Davis the first game, yes respectable wideout but it wasn’t Diggs shadow rate was 45%, next two are Jalen Tobert don’t even know who that is 32.4% shadow rate, week 3 is, Kendrick Bourne 44.8% shadow rate, week 4 finally a respectable opponent in Travis kelce at 23.3% shadow rate. This isn’t anywhere near to what Surtain is asked to do, yet PS2’s shadow rate is around 15% higher this season while actually covering WR1’s… and good ones too in Tae week 1 at 64% shadow rate, week 2 vs terry at 31.7% shadow rate, week 3 vs hill at 48.8% shadow rate, week 5 vs DJ at 60.5% shadow rate, and finally week 5 vs Wilson at 69% shadow rate. Take away that one fluke td vs Anderson and individually PS2 vs WR1’s is doing a better job than sauce… he isn’t at PS2’s level, same issue last on why he ain’t CB1… sauce isn’t put against WR1’s and asked to trail them unfortunately

I think it’s important to add in to context here that sauce doesn’t get moved around to shadow other teams WR1s other teams take advantage and just move their WR1 around. Idk why Saleh doesn’t but hey it’s his system and it seems to be working so 🤷🏽♂️

It’s not a Sean Payton problem. I’m convinced that Sean came here to rebuild a team he wants. Meaning he is not commited to Russel even though he said he was. It’s clear Sean wants a project qb to develop which is ok. Caleb, drake maye, bo nix, or even Quinn.

Joel is hilarious , Riv is the only dude that’s been completely off the broncos the last 2 seasons. Joel picked up to be in the playoffs at the beginning of last year and this year he said he thought sean payton would do good with russ😂 MF never picks sides then takes a victory lap when his half baked takes are right 😭😭 shoutout riv for always picking a side.

1:44:46 Joel would be right here if he were referring to last season. Hurts did have an issue with prematurely bailing from the pocket. However, this season, he has drastically improved in that area. It's even more impressive when you consider that Brian Johnson has implemented a more methodical, pass-heavy offense. Of course, they still maintain a healthy run/pass balance, but Jalen is now being asked to make far more plays from the pocket compared to last season. He has been a scrambling quarterback for most of his football career, so he's still not perfect. However, his poise and presence in the pocket have undeniably improved. In fact, his ability to stand tall in the pocket, go through his progressions, and read defenses has been a significant factor in Philadelphia's ability to overcome some of their underwhelming offensive play so far. These improvements are the reason his scrambling and off-script plays have been so effective this year. He is still getting used to the new offense, so there have been some growing pains. However, if you observe the way Jalen is playing the position this year, I believe he is actually better than last year. I think it will become more evident when all the pieces finally come together. They have improved every week, so I think that will happen sooner than people think.

Appreciate the lions love drew. But I don’t get why you keep saying that the lions don’t have a secondary when our secondary hasn’t been bad. Sutton has been doing his thing, jerry jacobs keeps getting picks, Tracy walker has been holding things down in place of CJGJ. Outside of the Seahawks game we haven’t been lit up . QBs get yards in the sexy half of games after we’re already up by twenty. Our secondary is not bad at all lol

Justin Fields has everything against him because if the panthers have the worst record, which they likely will, even if the Bears made the playoffs I could see them saying well damn we made it with this guy, why not get the guy who’s potentially better and we could even further. But if the Bears suck then they’ll say well damn maybe this guy can make us better. But if he can get to the Falcons that might be the perfect situation with Drake London, Kyle Pitts & Bijan Robinson where we could see him excel

Bro c'mon you can't bring up that BS tweet by that "doctor" saying that AR has a "lengthy injury history" - at the end of the day he didn't miss a game from any of those before this season. Mahomes had the same kind of list coming into the league but you wouldn't say that about him. He does need to learn to get down though, I feel like he'll make the adjustments and be fine - these early injuries seem to be freak things tbh

Idk if Sean Payton is this fraud but I will say that when Sauce went down with an injury and the Jets muffed the punt, the Broncos decided instead of attacking his replacement in the passing game, the run a double reverse which was immediately fumbled. Also Drew can’t have it both ways when he said that Hackett doesn’t get credit for calling runs for Breece to run the ball but all the ball for Zach Wilson throwing a pick. Either he’s smart for using Breece and dumb for having Zach throw or he was a bystander of Breece being great and Zach making a poor decision
@1morebmw197 Жыл бұрын
Joel , you have to realize mike McDaniel might be able to help the pats offense even being a genius. They need personnel to execute his run scheme that your raving about. The offensive line is horrible and can’t even let Mac get time to throw and can’t get a run game going that was great the past 2 years. Just as much as you say mike McDaniel can transform the pats offense. Bill belichek will transform the dolphins to a elite defense. Same goes both ways. Only reason the pats are failing is because his GM decisions. He spent a lot of money and drafted mac with a great run game and great play caller in josh McDaniels they made the playoffs. They were a elite red zone offense with max as a rookie. It’s not all belichek. He needs to get talent on the offense so max can succeed and get a play caller to maximize them. Like josh McDaniels did. Only issue you can throw on belicheck is his OC hiring and drafting offensive talent.
@pickaside Жыл бұрын
Yes Bill would elevate the dolphins defense. That’s kind of the point tho. I’d rather an offensive genius than a defensive genius in the modern nfl
