Cutom built cabinet housing 3 TVs, a 42 inch for the playfield, a 19 inch for the DMD display, and a 32 inch for the backbox. Cabinet uses a 32 port LEDWIZ to create force feedback using car starter solenoids, and also run shaker and gear motors. CREE LEDs are wired but not installed yet, and will be used to flash different colors during gameplay. Cabinet allows you to play 100s of tables using real ROMs.

No hyperbole here: this is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I've always wanted a pinball machine, I might go this route instead. Amazing, amazing work.

Just WOW. I´ve watched plenty of arcade and vpinball builds but this blew me away. Amazing attention to detail and I basically watched the whole video with dropped jaw and eyes wide open in awe. Kudos. / Krister, Sweden

Just think, when I was a kid, this could never have happened! But even better, I get to enjoy it as an adult!

That's exactly how I imagined I'd do mine! I'd love to see a video with the PC sound turned off to hear all those solonoids firing along with the simulation!

@realisticHomeboy Yes, it uses a regular pinball tilt sensor to send signal to ipac where tilt is mapped in visual pinball. I would recommend using a microsoft tilt joystick instead though.

@bjbowman045 Solenoids are harder then the contactors that some people use to create the force feedback for flippers and slingshot etc, I only say this because the contactors draw less than 500 mA which the LEDWiZ can handle on an output port. The solenoids draw about 3 amps every time they fire, so they need to be on a seperate circuit from the LEDWIZ so you have to use relays.

It's an older Westinghouse LCD, I'll have to check on the exact model. I used an old TV I had, you probably can't purchase this one anymore. Main thing is to find a 1080P TV with 1:1 pixel mapping if possible.

Very impressive! Is there any truth to the HDTV not lasting as long on it's back like this? Also, have you tried putting glass over the monitor? I wonder if that would make it more like a real table or not make a difference.

Looks great, I am following your Hyperpin Forum posts. Going to start my build in a couple months. Is it hard to set up the solenoids to work with LEDWIZ?

Nice job! I just got a 79 bally supersonic cab so starting on my hyperpin cabinet, 37" TV and decasing that this weekend. What size are those relays you use? I didn't think a ledwiz could trigger relays, thought it only did LED scripting. That's awsome because I wanted to solenoids and was going to wire that up to a power supply. Your method is way easier! Don't think I want my cab shaking though with a TV and PC in there heh. Yeah great job man looks great!

This looks good! My only question is why did you decide to not take the cases off of your monitors before mounting them...? Seeing "Sanyo" below what should be backglass kind of ruins the illusion.... I know I'm being nit-picky... It's still pretty cool.

Amazing Work, i'm really interrested with the force feedback feature, can you provide detail on how you achieve it ? It's the first time i heard of this stuff. I plan to build my own and have idea to implement tilt and shake function... but actually think about a bass shaker for the force feedback. Great anyway :)

Did you have to do anything special to get your LED-Wiz working with the UVP backglasses? The second my are on at the same time, the game is so lagged that it is unplayable (4fps). I am running XP, everything runs poorly in Win 7.

@cathou12341 Google mameman and visual pinball plans, I believe I adapted his plans for this. It's based on a pinball widebody, anything smaller you can't fit a 42 inch playfield
