@@Talisman09 I finally watched it for the first time last year, and... Wow. It's *really* bad. I don't know how it became a classic rom-com, because it's really creepy and almost every storyline is about a man in power sleeping with a subordinate. Oddly enough, despite being a "chick flick," it's much more of a male fantasy kind of movie. Lots of nudity, lots of women acting like blow-up dolls instead of real people.

100% agree with how people are in NYC. I've lived in many places and the misconception is New Yorkers are mean. They're not, they're impatient and forward. They don't use obligatory pleasantries and politeness you get in other places. But they're kind. You can basically ask any New Yorker for direction, to take a picture for you on your phone, or honestly just start a convo with them and they'll usually be ammenible. They just skip straight to the point and are usually in a rush somewhere. And I agree with Rob that a lot of the Midwest is genuinely kind and sweet. Almost to a fault bc shit can take longer or be more invasive than you'd like, but I found people there are often just so sweet and caring.

It was just such perfect timing that for this podcast episode Megan hadn’t shown up yet while you were discussing what prompted the Sunny episode and there’s a law named after her addressing the exact plot.

You could totally work into Always Sunny episode that the gang is applying life lessons and plot lines their everyday experiences from movies but they’ve never actually seen them and have decided what the movie is about purely from the title.

When Megan brought up that Caffè Nero cup that was a really bizarre moment for me. I work for Caffè Nero and a couple of my ex-colleagues were totally obsessed with the show, they basically watch it on repeat every night even now. Anyway they got me into the show a few years ago, I fell in love with it and to see the Nero cup is such a strange symbol of that.

As amazing as the MPB Glen reveal was, something about seeing Charlie with that very proper china coffee cup is somehow the funniest thing I've seen in years.

The whole "French people are rude" thing stems from tourists in Paris. It's like basing the entire US's attitude on your one bad weekend in New York City or Boston.
