Get an old Suzuki king quad 300 that have the 15 forward gears in 3 ranges, super low, low , high and reverse. They are bomb proof! Last yr they made em was either 02 or 04.

I have a 99 300 just put snorkel on it i go over the seat in water and it skips and shuts off is water getting in the carb or is the floats in the carb messed up

Did you run vent lines for the carb. They have an overflow line at the bottom of the carb and you can put a check valve on the bottom of the carb. Should help

Mud Puppy I’ve heard of people using that as well but the bottle doesn’t have the wet clutch cert for these motors so I strayed away from it. Still using the gn4 from Honda but just don’t really like it on my 04 foreman. Do you use the 15W or 5W? Thanks

This is a 1997 Honda TRX 300 FW. A clean one goes for about two grand but it takes a significant amount of modification to get them to do any of this reliably. unless you're down for that you're probably better off getting a newer bike

Have to disagree we have 8 new 520 DCT and the 2018 500 DCT I would never go to a manual we cover around 45/80 miles a day on the bikes towing up to 2400LBS and usually on Track systems and 32 inch tyres Through skeg swamps and water the DCT is much better for our stuff however maybe for recreational mudding manual is better ?

You have to plug the bowl overflow on the bottom of the carb. And snorkel all the other vent lines. You probably only have one on that carburetor.

Once you plug the overflow it's very important to remember to turn off the petcock when parked
