You missed (or I zoned out listening) the easiest way to blast proof your chests - water log them. Not necessarily the most visually pleasing solution, but very early game friendly.

41:00 on that same note, the mace should be able to get a netherrite upgrade since docm77 lost one in lava, bless him especially considering how rare it is to get the core in the first place, thoughts?

Or maybe the heavy core (and the mace, by extension) should just be considered netherite to begin with? It certainly feels like a "heavy" material. Not sure how you'd convey that to the player, though...

I was thinking a netherite upgrade that didn't increase the damage because that's already ridiculous, but just makes it lava proof

Yeah, I've always thought that the heavy core and mace should just be blast and fire proof to begin with. It's so much effort to get them and not everything that is fire resistant should have to be netherite

I’ve built a endear pearl stasis chamber that drops the pearl from a ceiling. It’s seemless, and an entirely hidden system. And I’ve built a stasis chamber that launches the pearl from the floor, and again, it is seemless and completely hidden. The timing isn’t too complicated. I wish I had a KZbin channel to show these things. But I do have a realm.

Slicedlime did release a video where he showed off a smp pearl teleportion system he's worked on and off for years, I remember him fiddling with the idea of it during streams from Legacy smp S2

Hmm Interesting. Eyeblossoms are poisonous to bees and it's intentionally made to be like that but when fireflies were poisonous to frogs (a feature not even in the game) they took them away... made that way

Regarding the change log segment, the data pack format changes is the part I find the most relevant and simultaneously the most annoying as I’ve made several custom data packs which I try to keep compatible with all versions of Minecraft since 1.20.2. Currently these now have four overlays to support the changes in file structure and/or JSON format between versions - many of which seem to be purely cosmetic rather than functional - and it sounds like I may need to keep adding overlays with each new release. :’(

I did bring this up before when Pix did one of his 100 questions episodes but while I agree with them on not necessarily having blast proof chests, I would like to be able to make fire proof shulker boxes (shulker + netherite ingot? 8 netherite ingots??). The number of times I’ve lost a shulker in the nether is infuriating. It’s great that all my netherite tools survived but I’d love to have a netherite box as well. Just my 2c
