1:00:29 throwing a trident with channeling at a lightning rod would help a TON, though it would still be a difficult wood type to create with. I personally enjoy having a rare wood block, but I can see how it would be a tad annoying to use freely. A very interesting idea nonetheless.

curseforge launcher is what I use and would prevent the mod folder swaping. Iris and fabric and forge are both easy to find on there

Joel, if you use modrinth as your launcher and add mods to your instance, it automatically checks for dependencies and adds them. could make your modding experience better?

Thanks! I'll look into the Modrinth launcher, as well as the Prism launcher that Pixlriffs mentioned.

@@JoelDugganVODs Prism launcher also does this, though I will admit that the UI for adding new mods doesn't look as nice as Modrinth's one does.

About farming resin; idk how it'd work automatically for java but on bedrock you can just trap a bunch of creakings and have a Trident killer just constantly hit them, while it'll be loud with 82848273 pistons going all the time it would create a crap ton of resin. For people who don't know what a Trident killer is, look it up.

I appreciate that making the game mechanics work on all devices and versions must be a challenge that is not often seen by the individual player. I play Java mostly but I also play on a family Realm on pocket edition. I had a hard time figuring out how to use the bundle on my iPhone bedrock versus computer Java! I can imagine that some game mechanics are limited by one version or another and so that is the one adopted for universal use for parity.

Idea: tie charred wood to fire instead of the furnace or lightning. So anytime that any wood burns it would be tuned into charred wood and then continue to burn normally until the fire was put out.

13:10 You should never need to rename a mods folder! Almost every launcher (I like Prism, which is one of the more popular ones, but this applies to ~everything out there, even including the vanilla launcher), lets you have multiple copies of Minecraft with their own mods folders and worlds. (Separating the world is important so you donʼt accidentally open a world in the wrong pack and lose all the modded blocks.) You should never need to manually rename a mods folder or anything. Prism also does mod dependency tracking most of the time, so itʼll usually automatically install whatever additional libraries you need. I use it for vanilla as well, just to have everything in the same place. 52:44 You were just talking about items you can do that with already: logs. I think those are the only ones.

I feel that mojang maybe thought that the numerical was too aimed at adults and are trying to focus on the younger audience that are the majority of bedrock players (I'm a Java player) with the refocus on the name Just a guess on my part, I personally do find it really hard to keep track of what's what when you talk about updates past tense since they started with the minor updates but that's solely on my brain and I get why they made the change they did I just wish they'd organized communication a bit more pedagogical

so my question would be if i alrdy make a bundle with the stuff i need to brew, why not make a shulker with the stuff to brew everything? We can try as much as we want, the bundle was not a real fix for the inventory problem, it is like a plaster on a open broken bone. it maybe look nice with its flower print, but the wound is still there ^^
@RagingViking90119 күн бұрын
No one is saying it's a "fix" for the inventory issues. It's a helper. In specific situations I have found it to be incredibly helpful. The most beautiful thing about it? If you don't like it or don't find it to be helpful, you can just overlook it entirely. ❤
@m.k.outlaw319819 күн бұрын
@@RagingViking901 i love your response. Because your are wrong, Mojang themself said the bundle was made to be a fix to the inventory problem, they even said they watched a lot of creators playing to find out how to help ;) and in that they failed! i am not saying it can not be usefull in some situations and it is a cute addition to the game, but that was not the point
@muffin506219 күн бұрын
@@m.k.outlaw3198 That's literally never been their purpose. they make that pretty clear in their video talking specifically talking about the bundles. they're meant to reclaim inventory slots, because a lot of the time single items take up a full slot. The bundles let you pack those different single items into one slot instead of, let's say 7.
@williamjones533418 күн бұрын
@@m.k.outlaw3198 I think they mean that it's not intended as a be-all, end-all solution to every problem with inventory at once - it's a solution to one specific problem with inventory, that of clutter.

Also, as an answer to your original question, this means you can keep both brewing supplies and potions themselves all in the same shulker. Or keep potion supplies alongside other stuff, like, say conduit supplies and doors for an underwater box, or gravity blocks for a fire resistance box, or golden apples and ammunition for a fighting box.
