Silverbacks rarely show interest in their babies. I say rarely, because there might be exceptions. I don't know about them. I haven't seen dads interact with babies myself. Some of the silverbacks I know are into playing with or groomig their older kids (from the age of about 3)

In the first year or so the kids are too young to really do anything so the fathers don’t bother them. They will however protect them the same as any other member of their group.

​@Ana Arteaga This answer was from 6 years ago ;-) Like I said 'rarely'. Since this remark I found out how Makula (GaiaZOO) is with his kids and later Matadi (Zoo Antwerp). It all has to do with how the mom trusts her man.

Please would someone please tell me what are the twins gender ? And she meaning mom is great with the babies ..but I just wonder what she would do thought her life if she meaning mom was like my aunt.. my aunt had 3 sets of twins and in between those twins she had a single.. lol but very true. My aunt violet had first baby , then a set of twins then she had one baby so that makes 4 ,then she had another set of twins, then one single,that makes 3 more so all together she has 7 ,then the last was a set of twins except they are boy and girl...lol but all very true..but the way Mom tends to her babies she reminds me of my aunt..she was very loving but stern when needed.. but what are 5he twins boys girls or one of each?❤️

She has and had enough food! They love twigs and leaves. This is a small video, a day has 24 hours. She raised the twins perfectly, they turn 8 in June.
