Lovely to see the difference with the guilds around the plants and a variety of plants starting to grow. Very inspiring. Watching from NZ. Sad about the kitten.

Sorry about your Cat they do explore and hunt and sometimes get injured chasing things don't make it home. Bees don't really need keeping, but you can help them stay healthy and as the colony grows you will have to make the hive bigger and you can catch the swarms and put them in a new empty hive and home they like it as they can decide to leave. I'm sure you will get good advice. One tip never drop a hive even a couple of inches while moving it say to a better location the impact is like an earthquake to the bees they will attack you on and if not fully suited up it's very painful 30 plus stings all at the same time.
