@marguritetheodore21949 күн бұрын
you need time to run any business, especially when starting out
@hildredscali17549 күн бұрын
I was in a similar dilemma two years back. A business may not be the right way to go about getting that extra money except you won't do the running of the business yourself. You should probably consider investing in stocks, ETF's or even Real Estates if you have the money. You don't necessarily need a lot of time for this and it is equally rewarding. You can even use the service of a financial expert and this way, you literally do nothing and it's much safer. I now make roughly 12k monthly this way and I plan to still own a business but much later when I'm ready to retire. Goodluck

Nice... This makes a lot of sense... I've been considering going into this stock thing for sometime now... Heard its a nice way to make some extra funds... How do you get a good expert and how expensive are they...
@hildredscali17549 күн бұрын
_king_james_23 You should begin by looking out for those with strong records. Also make sure the person is registered. Personally, I use Marie, Kelly Matwick. She's not so popular but you might have heard of her. And from my experience, they're usually way cheaper than you would expect

@IslamicPulse0Ай бұрын
don't be afraid of competition, competition is always good!
@MaxitoFАй бұрын
“It makes it easier for people like me to get into different businesses without alot of competition.” - This comes from a place of good intentions, so please do not take this the wrong way. But there is so much wrong with that statement. AND I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME THIS EARLIER “without alot of competition”. 1. Competition means that something is actually working. If there is no competition, it means that you are trying to sell something that nobody wants (99% of the time) 2. You are probably yet to make your first couple bucks, so if the argument is that you will saturate a market, you will literally service under 0.01% of the market at the maximum of your operations. Not even talking about getting started. 3. Stay in your own lane. Nobody cares about what you are doing; the advice of “dont tell people your plans” is bullshit. Other people do not care, and other successful people will focus on what they are trying to achieve, and not hop on new ideas (even if your idea is fantastic). There are millions of fantastic ideas, but just realizing one of them requires saying no to all else and sticking at it for years if not decades. “different businesses” 1. Please just pick one business and stick to it. All of the models outlined in the video will work, because all of them exist (because they have competitors=market demand;)). So if it “is not working”, you are not working. You have not put enough focused effort and time in. 2. There are a million ways to make a million. But if you focus on making the million, you will jump ship every other day, thinking this new thing will be easier. Focus on one model. 3. Every model is equally hard. Please just accept this. It feels like such a nice relief to put in the same effort, but get 10x the results. That is the idea people are selling you so they either get your money or your attention. You pay either way. 4. “The grass is never greener on the other side. It is greener where you water it.” “people like me”, i assume that means beginners who haven’t really taken off yet: Here is a little roadmap: Choose one of the 33 “business ideas”->Learn the skill for 20 hours maximum->Reach out to 100 people (if they already know you and fit the avatar you are trying to serve then do them first) a day telling them you will do it for free (if they still say no reduce hidden costs(time and effort from their side))->Do those 100 daily until you have 3-5 HAPPY free clients, that have given you a testimonial->Use those testimonials in your advertising to start charging clients (now you know what you are doing). Tada, things are starting to work. Do those 100 outreaches everyday no matter what happens. And constantly ask for feedback from clients to get better at what you are doing. Do this for 30 years, and you will be somewhere you never imagined possible. “It makes it easier”: Why does it have to be easy? All I can promise you is that starting will be very hard, continuing will be even harder, and not switching opportunities when you feel like it will be the hardest. But you will grow as a person, and even though things will objectively become harder and harder, you will be more capable of handling the “hardness”. And if the goal is you, meaning that you want to develop yourself and see how much you can achieve/how much you are capable of, then it not being easy is a literal necessity. Just my two cents man. I dont know you, but I feel like you are thinking the same things that I was a while back, so if just one of these things lets you take actions that more closely align with your goals, then you wouldnt believe how happy i actually am;)

I live in Vancouver, canada and I am planning to set up a marketing agency for real estate agents in both U.S & Canada as this is a niche I am personally interested in and something I can see myself working long hours in. As of September 2024, do you think this is a good niche to get into? Since 2016, I am hearing that USA is on the brink of the worst recession ever but as we all know it hasn’t happened. So I am wondering if opening a marketing agency for realtors is a good idea right now. I would really appreciate your advice, thanks!
