335D v 430D owners review! - Part 1

Raihan Hussain I have to agree with you there, a well mapped 335 would be insanely fast compared to 99% of cars on the road. Also a quick update, although the 335 is a lot heavier to drive etc. as a car enthusiast it would keep me entertained for much longer. I hadn't owned the 430d for long before we shot this video and it does become a little boring after a while. I can't imagine the excitement of owning a car that drives like the 335 would wear off anytime soon.

Agreed I've got an 59 plate e92 335D white/coral red leather stage 1 tune egr delete and dpf removed it's a weapon!!!!

430d has 435d engine remap and you will get smoked

You guys know nothing about the cars. The E9x has hydraulic steering hence why it is heavier and has more feel to it 👍

Hi Rash, the review was meant for a owners day to day point of view rather than an in depth technical review. But thanks for the info. I currently still have my e92 330d ( an se model) which has SIGNIFICANTLY lighter steering

Rash The E9x are definitely more involving. I remember driving an E93 M3 LCI and was in awe at how easy it was to feel at one with the machine. The M4 I drove was definitely a great machine but a driven beast. The electronics seemed to be always there in the background. Steering weight was highly artificial

Michael llewellyn badly worded but I know what he meant - he’s asking about the power in the lower rpm’s. Most powerful diesels aren’t very responsive due to one larger turbo and the lag associated with them, however the smaller turbo on these twin turbo cars ensures power throughout the rev range.

You can not really compare these two vehicles. The 335d is an older engine, as good as that engine is, to compare it with the 430d I do not think so. Although I would lay £ that the older 335d handles better than a 430d and if I am honest, looks better as well. Other than that, not seeing really where the competition is. People going on about re-mapping engines. It is a fine way to destroy the engine and is only done by boy racers who do not have the money to buy the right car in the first place. I own a 335d Shadow Saloon. Recently got it, brilliant engine with its already powerful 313BHP which does not need re-mapping, looks the dogs and goes like stink, when you want it too. It also does not ballow out black smoke like the previous 330d and 335d engine.
