Definitely a real nice rig iv been running a fully custom 300 prc but it was a bit heavy at 11 pounds and sold it to a buddie and got a 300 prc christensen arms fft. I absolutely love it all in 7 pounds 7 oz. ....I have a 416 wby I'm thinking of rebarreling into a 338 norma ackly improved on a 22" barrel.

Hi Stephen, it is a very nice rig. The 300 PRC is a great caliber, that’s a great weight for that caliber very nice to pack and carry long distances. I think you would be very happy with a 338 Norma AI, even with a 22” barrel I think you would get great speeds. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, take care. If you do that 338 build let me know how it shoots and what speeds you are getting.

Man.... Marlin has a nice rifle. I can't believe he'd want to put it in a chassis. But, I'm not a chassis guy, so..... Good shooting and nice rifles. 👍

Yes, it is a very nice rifle. Its not in a chassis its is still in the original stock and I believe it will stay that way. Thank you and thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

Damn good shooting Bud, and Marlin too. Finding a range allowing those rifles to stretch there legs, within a decent driving distance from home, can be a challenge. Another good day at the range!

Hi Johnny, thank you. we are going to try and find a spot this spring to shoot ELR. That in itself will be a challenge. lol thanks again for watching and the comment, take care.

Wow that’s a beautiful rifle never heard of that caliber I seen a 308 Norma mag target rifle.

It is a beautiful rifle and it's very sweet to shoot. The . 338 Norma Magnum is a cartridge first introduced in 2008 and came into production in 2009, designed by Norma of Sweden. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.

The recoil looks light enough that you can get back on target in time to spot your own shots eh?
@bcextremeoutdoorsman Жыл бұрын
Hi DrD, the recoil on all my rifles are very manageable, meaning I never loose site picture of the target and can spot trace and impacts. Unless I do something wrong in my fundamentals. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care my friend.

I bought the same range finder after your review so thank you for that review I’m saving up for the watch now holy smokes that’s an expensive watch.

Just a question Why do they call a rifle a gun when a gun has no rifling I was always brought up calling a firearm with rifling a rifle gun with No rifling was always called a gun

Hi Tony, I am not sure, I never really thought about it. But a good point. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.
