The trick is to lower tire air pressure, which gives more traction.

Actually lowering tire pressure does not give more tractor. Since lowering tire pressure drops the draw bar height, therefore reducing the amount of downward force being put in the tractor from the chain on the sled. More downward force + more traction = farther pull. The traction gained by lowering air pressure is far less then downward force.

+Kelton Wright I disagree if you watch the guys that drop there tire psi you can actually see the tire grabbing and actually see it start to ripple it's grabbing so hard. I think there's a soft spot of having to much air in the tires and not having enough.
