I had real nice original 36 Ford Cabriolet back about 20 years or so ago when I had a little jingle in my pocket, I bought it to make a nice street rod but it was just too nice of an original to mess with it. My dream car is a 34 Ford Roadster modified street rod, if I was real rich I'd go for an all steal body. If I were just a little bit rich I'd go for a fiberglass but since I'm a poor guy I'll just keep dreaming. 🙂 This build is looking real good Bob I appreciate you sharing.

Hay Bob, just an idea to help with the vomit cam. Most people don't realize how much the head moves, but it's a lot. One way to fix it is to get ahold of a chest harness and mount the Gopro on the chest. It would cut the motion in half. I have a strong stomach and like amusement rides, so I'm good either way. I really enjoy watching you do your stuff.

Bob I love This Rat Rod. I love what you do and how you do it. A little moving around never made me uncomfortable. I guess I have done so much in my long life time a little motion in the ocean doesn't bother this old timer. This rod is one more of your' creations I just think is cool as sex on a Merry Go Round. I love everything you do. John in Florida.

Hey Bawb, I am one of the folks who has to deal with motion sickness. I do not dare to try to watch a train pass in front of my truck. I have found that concentrating on the movement is what screws with my brain. So I have found if I look to one side or another, or just below or above the screen I can still see the movement enough to follow along but not enough to get that sick feeling. Maybe this method will help other viewers as well. You know with the quality of work you are putting into this coupe, it can be painted a nice shiny color and called a Hot Rod rather than a rat rod.

I like it sir. Some people have a weak constitution. My shop is way worse than yours. I got my parts in for all my brakes on my c10 build. Worked on my grandsons 1980 el Camino yesterday. I built that into a hot rod. And gave it to him. He really likes it. If I was there I would help you sir. I can’t wait till you get that 34 done. But with that said take your time.

Bob, I noticed that you prop up assorted body parts with temporary wedges of wood or carton so that they align well. When it comes to permanent fits I also noticed you go out of your way to raise or lower parts to make them fit. I saw a couple of build-it-Yourself channels from up North Canada way that used materials we rarely think about unless we're into Hockey. They use a lot of Hockey pucks which they cut up, cut down or trim to use as engine mounts, support wedges and spacers. Perhaps this ingenious idea might cause you to buy a number of these hard rubber sports items for use in your build(s) too?
