We'll see when the player count stables out. It peaked at 31.5k yesterday. That's initial season hype. I hope the season ends up with a stable 20k so we can have parallel ranked next season. Don't think we can with the 14k average we normally have. And yes, I know they're making changes to cashout.

You were actually always able to slide with defab pads out. You can also slide with heal beam. If you have auto sprint on with no delay, it’s very easy to do. Makes for crazy movement during mid fights. Reminiscent of Lucio from OW.

You can deflect winch claws with dual blades, by the way (edit) I lied, I got gaslit into believing this because a claw was BARELY out of range aimed directly at me, it looked just like a parry

I love the new season so far except for the addition of the winch claw. The utility is insane but if you're a light and they use the sa12, you literally die at full health with no counter play at all. A 1 second windup time would be helpful for people to try and dodge it since there is no counter play to it atm

First of all, I really really enjoy and love this masterpiece of a game, Embark studios does a great job, so much so this is my first input publicly online on any game EVER. With that being said I feel a few changes could improve the game. 1. Have a RANKED option for each game mode in the game. I would personally love Ranked Bank It or Ranked Powershift. It could all be under one Ranked button and you just select the game mode you’d prefer. I love all the game modes and would love to get (more) competitive across them all. 2. I feel like tournaments can be changed in an interesting way. It would be an extraordinary if, after finishing the first round of the tournament on say, MONACO - CASH OUT, the 2nd round can start as LAS VEGAS - BANK IT, and vice versa; so on so forth. 3. Add a “slicing” destruction mechanic for the sharp weapons, the destruction in the game is incredible and I’d love to see different kinds of ways it can happen.

I calculated, and for gold 4 you need 225 win points and let's say you get an average of 3 win points per tournament ( for casuals this number is still very optimistic) means u need to play 75 tournaments, most of the time casuals somehow make it to the second round or not so we'll average it and get 15 min per tournament, so the total time to reach gold is 1.500 min or 25 hours, and that is roughly 2 hours of play ti.e a day every 2 weeks, to much for little reward

I hate the wench claw. So broken that they essentially negated the downside of heavy’s melee weapons, that being their lack of range. Theres literally no counter from the wench claw aside from maybe a glitch trap. They can pull you through all types of shields

Melee weapons don't have headshot multipliers. The only melee weapon with a conditional damage increase is knife. Which is the backstab. The rest do standard damage regardless of body hit. Sword is 75 iirc. The charge attack is 135? Iirc. Its around there. Knife is 50. Knife backstab us 320. Dual blade is i think 50 per swing or slightly more? I haven't tested spear.

lights can insta delete heavies now. that and if they are in danger, they can evade dash which is the most unpredictable special, get in a good rat spot, and be back in the fight a lot quicker than the heavy whille their rpg is on cooldown. 3 seconds is actually huge in this game. also, they nerfed LMGs to marshmellow shooters so close range is their best go to which is helpful with the claw
