I might've missed Mono Black Day at The Slotherhouse, but I'm catching up since I've the day off tomorrow from work. I've been working lots of overtime and haven't had any real time to play in my downtime. Listen.... listen.... Check out the standard's rotation with sets that will rotate out - you won't be able to use cards from those sets in Standard anymore. Probably best to craft after rotation happens, depending on how tight you are on wildcards (meta will change)

Yeah, I know, but good players often name the card that would be your perfect topdeck, to prevent you even "lucking out" of tough situation :) Something I personally always pay attention to, as I also played a lot of peacekeeper games :)

I find myself playing long goodbye over cutdown now. Creatures are overstated for mana cost and there's a lot of ward and counterspells getting played I feel.

Yeah, that's a very good point, originally long goodbye felt a bit "meh", but lately, it feels like one of best cards of deck, every time I draw it

Removal is great, as long as matchmaker won't match you with streak of control players:) If you mean Sheoldred, she's amazingly great, complete showstopper vs aggro decks (best, as they can't kill her without 2 separate perfect cards)

That is pretty good catch - to be fair, I think I missed it, but he would still need to invest 2 cards to counter lifegain, basically. I think he kept get lost to counter next arenas. I think you are right, and he would be better with using get lost to kill emperor (due to maps giving him better power/draws mostly), but I think it would end the same. But solid catch :)
