I hate assuming things but as someone who doesn't particularly likes real guns but will play Sci-Fi shooters and have had different jobs on different types of places, I bet it's probably related to work benefits. A lot of the time people will work on whatever they need to do for access to whatever 343 offers, I mean if you need Microsoft type money and are doing it regardless of how you feel about it wouldn't surprise me there was some bottled up frustration for that, just we get to see it more on social networks these days, just used to think of 343 as a porting house akin to Feral Interactive but for getting original Xbox and 360 games on new hardware. Also who knows about returning specific people back into halo, maybe it would make it more enjoyable, it was a product of the right people at the right time, and can't really imagine it without people like Martin O'Donnell back in for the music, even if the game plays well and other grievances are fixed, the vibe of OG halo with lan parties and pizza on Friday night is something that Microsoft can't bring back, that's up to us.

@@Nadestraight Agreed but again he should be replaced with someone who loves Halo. If I could I would love to incorporate a lot of the old alien invasion movie plot lines into Halo more specificly from Japan, added into the story and remind everyone why the Banished are the bad guys. Additionally we need to make the humans be more optimistic especially with the advancements of their technology when compared to its tech level during the human covenent war. The recolonizations of the outer worlds should be exciting for humanity not just act as a bland WE REBUILT THE PLANET YAY BACK TO WORK! We need the technology to reflect the optimism of the wacky super science of the 1960s in some ways and more less of our own universe. Additionally I felt that in Halo infinite, the Banished came off like they were Neo Team Rocket in pokemon gold and silver, you were stuck cleaning up the sloppy leftovers made by the previous leaders of the old bad guy group and previous main character. I hate that kind of plot direction. They didnt even come off as a threat at all. The alien invasion concept lost all meaning by this point. Which is why Halo 7 should focus on the concept of Invasion like how it was done in Halo Reach. There needs to be a bigger focus on explosions and fear of threat as to just fancy story writting that turned halo infinite cutscenes into a pixar movie made for kids. Also the main villain is so much of a push over hes a joke hes got no trump card except to say IM THE NUMBER TWO OF OUR LEADER FEAR ME ! so is the number 3 of the banished going to be any better?

"Proof that the previous team couldnt do it?" Anyone who plays thru the MCC when they get to Halo 4 can see the drop in quality. All the Prothean guns suck and they arent fun to fight. Halo 5 is some of the worst story telling in gaming. Havent bothered with Infinite yet. Halo Wars 2 I loved but i think that was more Ensembles Doing than 343.
