Being new to the .348, I was both surprised and disappointed to learn how difficult it is to find brass. I did turn up 110 new, unfired Winchester cases at one of the on-line auction sites, but paid dearly for them. I just received 100 pieces of Quality Cartridge Company brass, which appears to be of high quality. Hornady lists it on their web site as "new" for 2017, but has yet to ship any. Kind of frustrating. I guess 210 pieces will keep me shooting for a good long time, but it would be nice to get a few more. Oh, and that 200 grain Hornady shoots quite well over IMR4350 in my new Miroku M71. I got it too late to hunt with this last season, but I'm looking forward to next. What a fun, interesting rifle/caliber. Hard to believe it's so overlooked.

Really worth it though. The more I put mine to work the more I like it.

In my rifle H414 works best with the FTX, IMR 4451 is best with the 200 Flatpoints with magnum primers. H414 is really good with 250 Woodleighs.

I am too scared to print load data on an open communication. I use Hodgdon data and it is pretty spot on in my rifle.
