Update: This works perfectly as of May 27 and I’m on Xbox Series X just follow the instructions exactly. I AFKd for 8 minutes for each type of wool and got a full double-chest and a half of each type of wool. 10 minutes will get 15 minutes will probably get you 3 double chests and so on.

Amazing! Just did it on a bedrock server and it worked amazing! 5 seconds = 1 stack of wool! Gotta set up the other colors now and poof pow! Im the wool master of the server! Combined with the flower farm, carpets of all colors! Great job man! Question! Could you add a hopper minecart under the sheep that filters into a chest on that side or would it mess everything up??

You could do it but the hopper minecart won't be able to filter everything fast enough due to it's rates

gonna need help on this one, really tryna get this to work but the sheep just aren't shearing, tried a few different thing, any help? Tried different game modes, C and S, tried setting up the Redstone differently, right now i have it perfectly matching what was shown Edit-Changed the direction it was facing, we good

Hypothetically, if you wanted to push this farm to it's limits you can produce ~6,571,100+ blocks of wool per hour but that's just a little overkill...

Not working for me does direction of it matter. Built mine going into descending x. Used a guid to determine my chunks. If i stand behind the lever the sheep are gone and it wont sheer. If i stand right on the lever they stay but only sheer 1 wool each. Playing on realms xbox if that matters. I am not the owner of the realm

Nice, I live simtick farms! Also sorry but this isn't the fastest. The fastest is 216k wool/h with 1 sheep, so far. I have an idea to make it faster which may not work. Can't wait for more videos!

Yea I've seen that too, the one with 6x dispensers instead of just one but this is the most compact/easiest to build, and realistically you probably won't need more than this 🤣

As of June 12th, it does work, if it doesn’t, you probably did something wrong, saw someone asking if it’s directional and I haven’t checked myself but I build my farm going on the Z axis

How to i map out my chunk border

Either look for a texture pack that you can see chunk borders with or if you are on console look up a video on how to find chunk borders on console

I mapped out the chunks, but it still doesn't work, i turned the simulation distance to 4 and 6 chunks, but it still didn't work :(

Tested, it does NOT work, however if you place an observer at the dispencer, the sheep will be sheared but it will still work

@@wattah9299 the exact design, no unless you replace the redstone connecting to the dispencer with an observer looking at the redstone clock (at least for my testing). It does give alot of wool

Its for bedrock, not java. It abuses the fact that the redstone simulation distance and the entity simulation distance are not the same. By loading the contraption, but not the sheep, the farm can harvest the wool without updating the sheep to a sheared state. Java doesn't have the bug that enables this farm.
