I've saved two owls in the past few years. One of them having its wing hurt, took it to a place where they specialize owls, and the other from being squished by a car whilst it sat in the middle of the road. Got to pet both of them on their little heads, too. Owls are my second favourite wild animal.

Here's tip dog owners. When walking your dog near frozen water or high cliffs, keep them on a bloody lead!!! You're supposed to be more intelligent than your dog and anticipate danger and keep them safe.

In the early 1990's I saw a kitten struggling along under a friend's back yard shed, I picked him up and drove away. He became my traveling car companion for a couple of days, just driving around to nowhere in particular, providing water and stopping at a store to get cat food. By the 2nd day I noticed he had an infected hole in his abdomen about an inch wide. I took him to the vet and got medicine to heal the wound. He recovered from that within a month. My mom took him into her home and named him Lucky. We noticed he was cool around the adults, but would always hiss whenever small kids were wanting to pet him. Perhaps it's that he remembered it was small kids who caused torment and trauma. Lucky lived a long, happy life in our home, but left us on this date: December 4, 2006. RIP my friend.

I saved a little baby male puppy once, he was out in the back yard, and he had fallen into an old out house that hadn’t been used in years, I told the guy there to get a rope and I ride it around my waste, and I’d had him to lower me down to the sludge , and he didn’t want me to get the pup said he was already gone, I finally got a hold of him , and had the man pull me out, I taken the puppy up front, and pumped his right arm until all the water came out, he survived, and I taken him home and kept an eye on him for a couple weeks, and then I found him a loving home with an elderly couple

I think giving the snake a drink and feeding the snake a fish were the best. Most anyone would help a cute deer or any hoofed animal really, but so many are afraid of snakes when they don't need to be.

One of my cats was playing with something and I expected to see the brown body of a gopher flash upwards. When I didn’t see anything I went out to investigate. At first it looked like half a lizard, but my brain continued trying to figure out what i was looking at. Turns out or was a hummingbird. It was a juvenile male and he flew away after a long rest, sugar water, and multiple crash landings from his escape attempts.

I walk my dogs in the park next to my back garden and I have rescued a few animals,mainly geese. We had a killer swan who was trying to kill some goslings he had cornered in the reeds at the side of the lake. I went in with my umbrella trying to chase the swan away. The park ranger came rushing over in his van after people reported that a mad woman was trying to drown herself. Another time the swan had caught a tiny gosling. Luckily one of my dogs is in a buggy so I was able to grab the gosling and push the swan back into the lake with the buggy. The gosling had a yellow patch on its head and when it grew up I could always recognise it.

I saved a pitbull from dog fighters he was the sweetest dog you can ever meet I had a bit of trouble the first 2 weeks, he bit me in my face but I never gave up. Sadly he passed away November 11 2022 I wil never forget him his name was monster and I named him Rex I had him for 4 years and his best friend ware 2 chihuahuas from my mother i mis him every day

The one with The Snake coming to get a treat- reminds me of a Sherlock Holmes story. Father trained a snake to come when he used his wistle. Then to get on a rope... then he put the rope in the Vent between his Office and his Daughter's room.. where he bolted her bed to the floor so she could not move it.. That is how he killed his first daughter.. Tried it with the second but she asked Sherlock for help.. so she was saved...
