Please be aware of the need to wear a mask when you use acrylic spray paints either indoors or outdoors which is only slightly safer. The acrylic paint is non-biodegradable plastic and its microscopic particles are inhaled to form over time a permanent film on the lung surfaces. Because their breathing has been constricted, artists who have used acrylic sprays have been forced to rely on portable oxygen tanks to survive. I have also heard that the particles can cause cancer..

I literally took out a dozen small milk carton containers to donate - I'm getting them back in the house, getting some zip ties and spray paint and then will get wood to go over awesome looking shelves! You have so many great ideas! This is just one of the few I will use. 💖

i know my mouth dropped open when I saw that! I'm POOR-not just sayin' and that is a doable option. I cant afford such ''furniture''. That literally blew my mind. I had seen that idea yrs ago stacked crates for books, toys but not put together NICE like a storage unit. BRILLIANT

Label or not my husband can never find anything! Lol! Bethany, let me tell you; this was great. I raised 4 children in a 3 story house with lots of storage. We downsized last year when my husband lost his job. Now we rent a small house from my brother-in-law and his wife. I will be using all your tips and tricks. I'm definitely going to be ready for my Spring cleaning now!!!

locker shelves, (bought on clearance after school starts) are great under the bathroom sink to get more verticle storage. large and sturdy and also rather taller that the little dollar store shelf, will give you taller space under the shelf for things like shampoo bottles

I use a turn table under the sink. That makes things in the back easily accessible. I use the smaller turn table for my spices. The large turntables are from IKEA, wooden. I have some large plastic ones from years ago. I find that when things are doubled in front of another bin things don't stay organized because it is a hassle to get to the bins in back. Some good ideas though that I will have to implement.

I came across the snap and lock containers a few months ago and thought i would try them out. I have a salad spinner so i always wash all my salad before it eat and i was wondering if they really would keep my salad fresh after it was washed. I love them so much that i went back to dollar tree and bought 6 more in different colors. I bought 3 different colors to keep my salad and fruit organized. For me these are a huge time saver because i have protein intolerance which for me means my diet is lots of fresh veggies. I buy my salad mix at SAM's where i can get a container to last me 5-6 days that is bigger than anything i can buy at a grocery store. I hate when my salad goes bad before i can eat it all. Do not let the size of the container fool you it holds enough salad for dinner plate. I love having those little baskets inside because it helps to keep everything from sitting in water and making it go bad.

Thank you for your video! Wow, did this ever help me to think outside the box! I have a "dish pan" that I store in the back porch for the occasional times I want to soak my feet. I also have a space under my bathroom sink to store extra toilet paper. While I was looking for a container to hold my toilet paper, I saw your dish pan. So I paired them together. The dishpan now holds my toilet paper (6 rolls) under my bathroom sink. When I want to soak my feet, I know right where my pan is! This saved me space and I used what I already had!

@csparkle373 жыл бұрын
This is great. I have an idea or two that might help someone maybe if they have less space, the measuring cups and spoons that are stackable would take up less space if you keep them together and then you can use the hooks for more items to free up the drawer. Also if they don't have what you need at the dollar tree always check Ross before spending $10 for things! Trust me! They always have greta items for less than most stores.

I also wanted to say, that I have an extension rod under my sink, I didn’t have a lot on it, but it kept falling down no matter how tight I’d make it.. then I bought a stronger rod.. that worked but eventually that fell too. For a helpful hint with that idea, I got two small pieces of wood, maybe one inch by one inch, if that, and glued one on each side under the rod... it’s held up for about a year now, I can even put full heavy spray bottles on it!

I use the little two drawer organizers for contact lenses - one drawer for the left ones and other for the right ones, works perfectly!!!
@artisanshrew3 жыл бұрын
@Cheryl Mayers *I love those little drawers too* ‼️‼️‼️ *I know they are stackable but - even better is that you can easily pop off the top of one set of drawers and the bottom of another, and they will actually snap into place to make 1 solid unit!* *You can repeat this with several drawer sets without and problems opening the drawers! Everything stays perfectly aligned and remains solid with a sturdy snap-on connection! Both of my daughter’s have an 8 drawer “stack” on the opposite side of the bathroom they share to hold their hair bands, clips, bobby-pins, mini-hair bands in several colors, q-tips, cotton balls and chapstick!* *Years ago, I found them in all black instead of bright colors and bought the last 2 and stacked them up for my husband. He still uses that 4 drawers tower to hold his contacts, q-tips, the black bands he uses on to keep his giant beard under control, and in the bottom drawer are his tweezers, min-scissors and nail clippers… I friggin LOVE those little drawers but haven’t seen them in my local store for over a year now…* 💁🏻♀️ *Just wanted to mention in case you want do you have more options/play with the ones you already have. Don’t forget to save any extra tops or bottoms in case you change your mind down the road.* *Cheers ~* *Meg / Tucson, AZ.* 😉

I bought a new townhome 2 years ago and, not gonna lie, I still have boxes to unpack in my bedroom and closet! I have gained weight since my illness has gotten worse and worse so my awesome, stylish, favorite clothes will probably never fit me again but I don't have the heart to donate them, sell or toss them out. I'm not a Dollar Store shopper but my daughter is and she gave me some of that yellow awesome cleaner I saw you hang up under your kitchen sink....now I can't live without it. I guess I need to suck it up and get over to the Dollar Store. Thank you for these suggestions! Now my cute townhome will be clutter free!

What a great video, thanks Bethany. I have done alot of these kind of things in my house too. I am going to use your dish rack idea for my oven trays and pizza pans. I have two baskets under my bathroom sink: one for new items waiting to be used and one for products that are open but not all used yet, like bulk soap refills and packets of toothbrushes. Just have to remember to check there first before buying more! I have plastic drawers under my kitchen sink and in my wardrobe. Ikea has big sets, for clothes. I love your idea of organising bathroom things into occasions rather than types. Like a summer basket and a wellbeing basket.

Girl! I tried those vacuum storage bags, they are EVERYTHING! I can store all the guest room bedding in the laundry room and not worry about smells. Thank you! Now I need more of them...seriously. tfs!

I have found that some clothing tend to start smelling weird after months, but if you throw in a dryer sheet, it helps the smell
