I am having a great time with my Pixel 3. My favorite features are the camera of course. Especially playground. Flip to shhhh and wind down is great too. I have been having issues with the smart lock. It keeps making me grab the phone off the charging stand and unlock it to do certain things like turn on my home lights or cast to my Chromecast.

Hmmm. I know certain apps require specific security to be unlocked. I will try replicate it

@@LironSegev I think it has something to do with a time out. I have it set to stay unlocked at home. I also have it on the base charger made by Google. I was excited about replacing the google home currently in my bedroom with it. But not being able to turn the light out by voice anymore or start my morning routine i set up is a bummer. I think I read somewhere the unlock at home is limited to 4 hours when on the base. I sleep more than 4 hours at night. My home assistant in my bedroom is set up to turn on the light, tell me weather and schedule, turn on light in the other room and turn my TV on a certain channel. All this when I tell it I am awake. And this may sound like I am expecting a lot, but it was working fine with the Google Home. But not working on the Pixel 3.

Is a there a setting to stop the auto pause. For some reason why I'm listening to music or watching a video it pauses without me even pausing it any way to fix it ?

It works if you twist it left to right or right to left twice

Yeah, so to flip the camera from back to front and reverse u have to flip it fast so it can work, it's like if you were sharing your wrist in a spin movement. Give it a try!

Regarding the flip camera... you are about halfway there. you are going 90 degrees to the side you need to go back to flat and 90° the other way and back to flat and then it will recognize and rotate the camera. It's a little simpler than that once you find The Sweet Spot. I dig it!

Hey, I noticed you don't have the date and temperature-widget on your home screen. How did you get rid of it? On my Pixel 3 I am not able to either move it to another screen or totally remove it. Or did you set another screen as your home screen?

unfortunately its still there. I was just using a second screen so it had minimum apps on it.

Yes the phone will switch from rear to front camera and back if you shake the phone one side to another about 90 degrees.
