Every alternate day, for the past three months, I wake up, freshen up and type "antranik yoga" in youtube and select your 35 minute routine you had uploaded four years ago. Following this routine has helped me lose 13 kgs (28.5 lbs) in 3 months, fixed my back pains and hip problems. I also have more energy during the day. Today, when I typed "antranik yoga", this is what popped up! This is like the next level version of the previous routine I had been following. Like the first time I attempted that one, I failed in a lot of areas in this one as well. Those push-ups destroyed me. But I am beyond excited about the potential of this routine. I'm going to try and incorporate it and eventually do this routine every alternate day. Thank you so much for your thoughtful lessons. They're amazing and in my opinion, the most genuine and high quality fitness videos on KZbin.

Antranik is great. I started yoga following the same routine and then I did the 30 days challenge for almost a whole year. I learn a few movements thanks to him and I use some of them to elongate after exercise. Thank you, Antranik.

You're definitely a go-to name for me and others, and the information that you've provided is an invaluable resource to everyone. You've made a sincere contribution to the health of a lot of people. Thanks for the session and I look forward to your others!

Found your channel from the bodyweightfitness sub and am hooked. Thank you for your videos and practice. You've got a way of speaking that is both endearing and encouraging! I have one request as an anonymous internet person: Could you guide us with inhalation/exhalation for each posture? I'm not super experienced in yoga so I get kind of loss as to the breathing techniques as we move. Thank you! RIP Medax.

This video came at the perfect time for me! I have been doing resistance training consistently for six months and have made great progress. It’s quite an achievement for me, and I think I’m finally falling in love with fitness. But I just realized just yesterday I have been neglecting my flexibility. This video appears, and with today being a rest day, I decided it’s the perfect time to dive into some yoga. It was pretty challenging at times but I think I kept up! Thank you Antranik for the great content.

Antranik just started watching your channel recently. You’re seriously a hidden gem. Love how you explain stuff in so much detail and great content. 👌🏽💯 Btw i started having this dull achy pain in my outer chest shoulder area, especially when i move my arm across my body. I feel like its from the tendons. Started having it after tucked front lever come downs( negatives) so stopped them but still have it although not unbearable. Any ideas on what it could be?
@AntranikDotOrg4 жыл бұрын
Hey there, thank you! I'm not sure what it could be, but it sounds like shoulder rather than chest, I suppose. Take a break from that stuff until it heals if it feels like the tendon. It sounds like it's a deep shoulder issue. You may not have enough retraction strength for the front lever. In the interim, you may want to work on rows (bodyweight rows, one arm rows, that sort of deal), to help increase the retraction strength if that is the culprit. Hope that helps.
@deadpooldeadpool69904 жыл бұрын
Antranik DotOrg Thanks Man! And yeah my retraction was probably really weak for the movement. Should i also avoid any push movements like Pike Pushups and Pushups? Or should i keep doing those?
@deadpooldeadpool69904 жыл бұрын
Antranik DotOrg did what you told me. Pains subsided now. Did lots of rows and pike pushups(low volume) in the meantime and shoulder feels great now. Thanks for the advice. Really appreciate it. Its actually funny that i can do one more pullup now in each set too. Maybe that has to do with my scapular retraction as well.

That was brutal! Didn't expect to have pike pushups in a yoga routine. And I found out I cannot sit on my heels for more than a few seconds before it starts to hurt, I see a lot of people sitting comfotably like this but it's too painful for me, is this a mobility issue?
@AntranikDotOrg4 жыл бұрын
It's really just practice. It could be mobility issue if you feel a stretch in your quads (front of your thighs). I bet you will adapt to it quite quickly though as you sit on your heels more often. And yea the pike pushups were a nice touch ey?!
4 жыл бұрын
@@AntranikDotOrg yeah definitely! I'm quite used to do 3x8 pike pushups in a full body routine, but going straight to 10 reps in the yoga practice felt much harder.
