I started my first jam. In one day, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I coded without using a tutorial. The only thing I used was the official unity scripting api which helped me understand on my own vector3, quaternions and raycasts. The jam I'm in is circle beginner jam #3 and the theme is "a different planet" I'm making a game where you jump from planet to planet. Unoriginal but I couldn't go in depth since I have almost 0 game developing experience+ I had to use 0 tutorials. And I got stuck on something and fixed on my own I'm so proud

I have a problem of never being able to keeping bugs solving to later and try to achive perfect on every code I wrote. How can I stop being this paronoid.

How i personally get around this is to give myself a time limit, say for example 1 week to implement wall running, grapple hook, shooting etc. Having the deadline kinda forces you to just build it and move on instead of endlessly tweaking. Just remember optimizing your code is mostly useless at the beginning since you'll likely have to optimize it all over again later on when more features are added or bugs are discovered 👍 good luck

Just team up with someone who knows how to do that stuff :) If you want to learn programming, you can do that directly within unity, using c#.

Game Maker Studio 2 comes with built in sounds? I've never seen them. Where can I find them? I will probably also link a couple of useful resources on the itchio page for free sounds and stuff like that.
