This is all very good advice and I applaud you for compiling it in a relatively short amount of time in an easy to understand way. This game has been out for over a decade, yet I still come upon playthroughs on KZbin where people make the dumbest mistakes all the time. So if I may, I would like to add a few things, even though they might be obvious: 1. Use your character's special perks! I saw people sending Marin to trade with Franko, while sending Katia to upgrade the workbench. Such a waste. 2. "Slightly" conditions can be healed just by resting, but if you can afford it, spare the meds/bandage, because there is also the possibility of those conditions getting worse without treatment. 3. For God's sake, concentrate on the most important things for survival! I see all the time people bringing cigarettes and coffee from scavenging, while their characters are ill, wounded, hungry or freezing to death. 4. Make sure to obtain a firearm ASAP, makes defending much easier. Also, make sure to obtain an axe ASAP, and use the wood gathered from breaking down the furniture around the house to board-up. 5. If it isn't winter, it makes a lot of sense to bring high value items from scavenging, and trade them for low value items when Franko comes. 6. The game becomes much easier if you know what enemies you can kill without a negative moral penalty, and if you then go on the agressive. I have completed a lot of runs very successfully without ever having to resort to killing people that give you a negative moral penalty, or even stealing from them. While it certainly is an option to survive, if you need to rob the old couple from the Quiet house, you are probably doing something wrong. 7. And finally, there is no shame in restarting. If by day 10 or so you are still struggling to keep characters alive, it is probably best to restart, rather than prolong the agony.

This game is blisteringly difficult.....until you complete it the first time. After that, it's mostly about challenging yourself and playing it your way.

Nice Vid. Great game. Time to reinstall after years ;D Beware if you are going to the kill multiple people. Even if they are evil doers and you can kill them with minimal to none moral debuffs. There is a high chance that your character will comit cuicide after the war. So try to distribute the killing to multiple charactors or just dont kill to many. I mean in most scenarios its not necessary anyways

the problem is the game can become soft locked on story mode with the girl whom is sick your unable to go places both runs of mine made this problem happen.
