I feel like the long tubes clean up the cars sound so much rasp wise but it does make it scream louder lol and honestly any performance part will make a difference now is it major i don’t think so but definitely worth it to make the car sound better and i know the isr exhaust is kinda raspy so it will clean the tone up if i had the money i would do it but its not necessarily worth it test pipes are pretty good as well i just got mine as a deal so i grabbed them and less exhaust leaks cause its headers and test pipes in one!!

idk. I'm thinking about this set for my track car. at WOT, the car already sounds pretty much just like yours in this video without headers but with test pipes. I don't think the sound is extremely different, but it probably makes more power.

On video it doesn’t sound that much different but trust me i had test pipes before these and the headers are super loud but the tone is cleaner as well

if you want a clear and clean tone longtubes clean the vq rasp and drone quite a bit for the most part. I truly believe equal length are better but any longtubes are good.

I told you it would be screaming with that Tomei. You gonna switch to a resonated Y pipe or you keeping the ISR Y? Either way it should make good numbers when you tune it. ISR headers are worth it, they make good power. The install is not as bad at people think. It just takes patience. I did it on jackstands in my driveway.

I mean on lowend its pretty chill but once you step on the throttle she screams i think im more used to it because the megan test pipes i had were trash and raspy af so these tamed the sound but it does howl on WOT and yeah the car definitely feels way faster but i also did my gallery gasket so that also helped the car’s performance but not sure im gonna be changing the y pipe or not if a resonated does pop up i might hop on it!

@@NickStaxz I think the headers sound better than the test pipes too. The resonated Y would clean up the sound, but it will be loud regardless cause of the Tomei. Anyway the set up is loud AF but sounds good tho.

Did you notice a BIG difference after the gallery gaskets? How many miles were on the Z when you did them? Could u describe the difference/feel of the throttle response when u did them? Thanks bro i have an 08 Z with only 50k miles

Yeah depending on how bad yours are leaking or broken when mine got fixed the day i drove the car home she was moving great is it crazy big difference no but you can tell your car is more healthy

I did mine around 92k miles but you just check your oil pressure if you start your car for the first time and the pressure isn’t above 90 they are bad

Longtube headers are a pain to install but the shop that did my dropped my motor because i also got the whole engine refreshed so it made the job easier to install the headers before putting the motor back in

I just installed mine last night, I have a rattling noise on the driver side when driving, the bolts are tight on the headers not sure what it is? Any thoughts?

Car drives better without it and when your doing pulls the car cuts itself whenever it loses any little bit of traction so when i do first gear pulls and go to bang 2nd it just goes instead of bogging

Yeah longtubes remove the cats and go headers straight to y pipe!

Long tube headers remove the stock headers and removes the catalytic which are known as test pipes for our cars do yeah i did removed them and now they are longtubes from the motor all the way to the mid pipe also known as y pipe!

Yeah its best to get a tune after install because your car is letting in more air into the system but you can still drive without a tune its just best to get one

@@NickStaxz i have long tubes, short rams definitely hold you back all that engine heat soaks bad, you basically loose torque. Those 3 inch with a tune boutta make a huge difference.

Yeah bro once you go tomei around 2300rpm- 3krpm has a quick rasp point but only if your like pushing on it if your just cruising you won’t hear it!
