The new Nissan Z came out last year in Sport and Performance levels, but now we have the Nismo (Nissan Motorsport) edition. More power, updates to the wheels and tires, and even some aero!
However, these Nismo additions come at a premium, and with some saying the lower trim cars are already too expensive, we wanted to find out if the Nismo is worth the extra spend.

I would if A. They put the manual in the one with good dynamics and B. Nissan dealers don't put $30k markup on them like they did the normal one

@@demongodspov7816 Test drove the Z, Supra M/T and M2 M/T. bought the M2. It just does more of everything... Z is more ''iconic'' and ''JDM'' feeling, Supra is more ''track ready''. sure.. But the M2 is the perfect option for weekend back roads, track days, business meetings and roadtrip with wife. From a considerable margin as well.

The nismo z did lap faster than the m2 in car and drivers Lightning lap this year. Probably due to its lighter weight. So nismo z is a better sports car. M2 a better road car

Legislators mandating technology never helps. Minimum wage hasn't kept up with inflation for decades.

Accounting for inflation, 7K in 1973 is about 49K in 2024. Salaries aren't tracking well with inflation. The divide between cost of school tuition / health care compared to salaries is growing as well.

@@swsschz yep cars are actually reasonably priced nowadays, it just seems like they cost a lot more since the money is worth less. Average salaries are definitely not keeping up with the increased costs though, especially with the prices of houses. The federal reserve was created by the elite bankers to extract the wealth from the masses in the form of inflation, and delete the middle class though, so I cant say that I am too surprised that its all going according to plan

I had one on order, I expected more. I cancelled it and will be waiting for the Supra GRMN. Also I would have thought with the budget of the 7 million subs, you could have more than 5FPS on your video quality lol.

The price shouldn't been so high, but it is definitely worth buying. True you can buy the new Supra, but the true driving experience is better with the Nismo Z.

Well done Nissan this is what the normal Z needed to be like from the time of release. The tuned Automatic transmission is probably the biggest improvement. Not having the option to get a manual transmission in a NISMO is a bit disappointing. I personally prefer the wheel style from the old 370 NISMO as I have never liked all black wheels. The price could also be about five thousand cheaper to make the car more competitive in it's class. But overall a substantial upgrade over the standard Z .... 😎🇦🇺

Wihtout a manual gearbox, the sport element is removed, there is no sport in the car driving you, sport is in how your drive the car. Automatics are fast vehicles but there is nothing super, or hyper or sporting about them.

It costs as much as an M2 but is slower and doesnt handle as well....so NO! Its still slower than rhe 6 cylinder Supra too. This Nismo Z looks better then the regular Z but its equally as disappointing and Auto only??? NOPE!

@ciello___8307 That driver was garbage in that test and Z nearly burned up its differential. They needed Randy Probst to do the driving there. Every other test the BMW M2 beats the Z handily. A Nissan antes fazia um design feio em carros populares e caprichava no Gtr e no 370z. Agora ela está fazendo o contrário e está cagando com o o design dos esportivos. 😢
