I say we because no matter if I am out here doing it alone or not, "we" includes my wife, kids, and other family living here, are all in it together no matter what "job" any one person does. I'm not always alone, my kids help, my wife helps. "We" includes the family that helps make decisions, supports, motivates, financially, physically or mentally they help. He had friends and family help along the way. We shows a lot of gratitude to those other people instead of taking credit for things he solely did not accomplish.

I too move my family into an unfinished house - about 45 years ago. The kids loved it! Everyday was a new adventure and every week a new accomplishment. Today, hey still talk about the adventure. They remember the grass that they seeded, the garden that they established, the deck we all built and their first critters. While some of the work was a bit hard on my body, they can not remember even a single bad day.

The water, electrical, propane and rest of the core systems install will be really cool to watch. That is the single part of the build ive been most looking forward to seeing. I know the down stairs still needs abit of work, but upstairs is almost totally done. All ya really need to do up there is just some minor electrical outlet/lighting install, painting and molding then upstairs is totally done. Forget that "light at the end of the tunnel" saying. You're STANDING at the end of the tunnel! Take a moment to get 1 more look around, smile, then step into the light.
