❤Love the dining nook turning into an extra sleeping area. The downstairs, underneath area made it worthwhile. Yes, you need ceiling fans to keep the mosquitoes out.

Wow that has to be one of the best tiny homes!! Such a beautiful design. I think that dining room/ extra bed room is my favorite. The downstairs is just more than I would have ever imagined!!!! So beautiful!!!❤

On TV, I watched the husband and wife team restore this tiny home. It makes me want to take a trip to Galveston. 🙂

355 sqft? I can´t believe! I live in a 355 sqft apartment, but a wall between kitchen and living/sleeping room takes a lot of space. I wish I had this "tiny" home! This is the best and most beautiful home I have watched on your series! Thank you! Love from Germany ❤

Beautiful home! Love those kitchen cabinets. The ottoman and dining benches are too tall. If you put your feet on the ottoman, they'd be much higher than the rest of your body. The dining benches make it almost look like you're perching on a bar stool. Otherwise it looks like a great place to stay.

The dining nook converting into a bed by removing the table and inserting the ottoman is brilliant. However, I fear that bonus room on the ground level will be destroyed by storms. As you said, that is the reason the homes are on stilts to begin with.

CT. Has very strict laws. ALL TINY MODULAR HOMES have to be on foundations, but I am interested in the options on wheels made customized based on a line of prototypes... I am wondering if a Trex deck wrap around would serve as a foundation?? Perhaps something like this home here. Except for the fact that the lower level or under the deck would be more for storage and outdoor stuff... Too true about the storms!!! I just know that I will not make the mistake many do and allow a 1/8 inch between the house and the deck to prevent mold, improve drainage, and keeping the area free and clear of debris that encourage mosquitoes etc is A MUST!!!!! I am just beginning my education and if I can find a living situation that would provide me with a quality of life. I have never lived alone. I have never considered life without any people to think about first. After the last 5 years, especially this past yr... I need to figure out the best way to learn if a TINY HOME IS RIGHT FOR ME. I have lived life for my dad, and he isn't coming back. He passed away almost a yr ago , and any other family has been unavailable for anything else whatsoever. I am not going to give up even with m disabilities and handicaps. As an adult child with disabilities I have a difficult situation and must relocate as my ex brother has evicted me from the home my dad n I have been in, and he never showed any interest or consistency for a son or brother. He is only praying on my vulnerabilities and $ hungry - that has been made apparent to me by outside observation. I am currently living with constant fear and stress and MUST MOVE ASAP. I would appreciate any and all feedback on my decision to pursue the TINY HOME OH YEAH, I AM OCD, PTSD, suffer from severe anxiety and I have been working my way through TBI. AFTER SEVERAL SEVERE BRAIN INJURIES, PHYSICAL AS WELL AS MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES I have been working on the possibility of trying to reintegrate into society. However I have been developmentally challenged and trust is extremely difficult for me to establish on any level. So, I am stuck😢. I am going to be so grateful for any of information that I need for my exploration of the minimal life and the first time ever I can eventually be able to live life on my own terms.❤TLC I have 3 emo dogs, and 1 service dog. That and those pups.. Tiny shihtzus are my family and are my reasons why I don't give up, and the purpose of my life. * That is why a TINY HOME IS on the top of my list currently.
