I have the K6S 2 inch, it’s an excellent revolver. Own S&W J frame revolvers and the Kimber is now my favorite snubnosed revolver. The new lightweight Kimber is in .38 Special and has a lower MSRP compared to the K6S.

Light + Magnum = Recoil Pain, at least in my book. I prefer heavy, large frame pistols for bigger rounds but maybe that's just me. Anyway glad to see you guys are having a great time. Happy summer!

I have the Taurus poly . 357 snub nose and the recoil is horrible. I only shoot . 38 out of it. I use the . 357 ammo for my Marlin 1894 lever action.

@@Yoko.Kurama yes, plus the grip is uncomfortable and there are few options for the poly. It's a great thought, poor execution. I shot a stainless s&w 357 and it was amazing. The added weight really helps control it.

Bought my wife this pistol, she loves it! At the gun range she shoots 38 special & +P rounds which is easier for her to handle. A revolver is much easier to load and shoot, no magazines to load, no racking a slide on an automatic or having to fiddle with a safety while the revolver is simplistic to operate👍 in her 70’s she’s a damn good shot!

I have the Kimber K6S and a Ruger SP101. I really like the Kimber. I also like the Ruger. Which one I carry is dependent on where I go. If I need 158-grain ammo, I carry the Ruger. If I have 125grain or 38 special ammo, it's the Kimber for me.

I’d take a six shot over five shot any day of the week. Those two .357’s y’all have are bitches to shoot .357 out of, way to stout. I really like my S&W 66-2 snubby. It’s a bit heavier but with .357 heavy is your friend. Your lady friend who shot the .357 round was awesome, went through 6 rounds like a champ!
