@@IdahoEagle77 motorcycles aren’t even worth it because the car drivers treat you like 💩 and cut you off. that’s how I ended up with my broken leg 🦴 i’m about four weeks away from healing, which means I’ll be able to start riding again. Now do you honestly think after all this I went through that I’m just gonna hop myself on another moped or a motorcycle ??😒 hell no !! I’m gonna stay my ass out the way in the bike lane on one of these nice powerful electric bikes or Surron and ride dat whoe on the sidewalk if anything 😂😊🏍️

@ Yes, other drivers can be careless, and I’ve known people who lost their lives on motorcycles because of careless drivers. However, Sur-Rons and other electric bikes can be just as dangerous. There are countless stories across the U.S. showing that riding an electric bike in a bike lane can be even riskier. On top of that, the significant EMF emitted by the battery between your legs while it powers the motor is dangerous to your health. Studies suggest that even carrying a phone in your pocket can lead to groin hernias and testicular cancer. I’m not taking that risk by getting on an electric bike for any sort of length of time-I’ve already developed two hernias because of magnetic fields. Many others in the IT industry I’ve worked with have faced similar issues.

I have a 3kw motor, same vevor kit. I'm using overboard batteries and xt60 adapters to splice everything together. I'll eventually buy a solder kit and actually wire the batteries correctly. This all is going on a mx650. I'll be drilling holes in the frame because of those screws. I'm kinda new to all this, so I hope I don't mess anything up.

As B rich mentioned, unscrew the bolt, recess the screw head on the plate and repeat for the other two just in case you need to play with fitment. The screws will then sit flush and you can cut, grind or leave (if you have clearance) the extended screw ends off the opposite end.

I saw that part. I have a more specific question. I see one picture where you show that the E lock must connect to the charging switch (red to red, orange to black) and the initial table desk set up test where you use a jumper in the E lock to get it to run. My bike is all strapped up and I don’t know how to turn it on. I am wondering if it is because the other piece that’s connected to the on off switch inside the SX 500 cover has nothing to connect to it or if I made an internal mistake wiring or if running the battery T connector straight to the controller like you showed in your test was a mistake when I used to do a different way like your other videos with the MX 500/650 the T connector from the battery and the initial wires that include the fuse. I can email photos. I’m sorry if I seem desperate but I am at the very end of a long road of building three bikes and this one was for me to ride with my two sons and I can’t turn it on and I’m wondering where I failed.

Question!! Do i need the step down unit if im not using a 3 speed throttle? Also whats the benefit of getting the 3 speed throttle vs the throttle that comes with the engine
@BRichSolution
@BRichSolution 2 жыл бұрын
No you don’t need the step down transformer for the throttle, its only need to run the headlights and taillights as they are 12 volts. You can use the single speed throttle that comes with the motor kit but be sure the motor is in high gear all the time by using jumper wire on the 3 speed wire harness on the controller: see video at 5:16. The benefit of having a 3 speed is better control in low gear off road. Also if kids rides ride the bike you can lower the gear
